Let's face it. Campbell is not a leader.

WIth a decent offensive line, he could be a good game manager.

But he is no leader.

And I don't believe he will grow into one.

- QB: 1 (JC is just not our guy, no emotion, no leadership, face it - he is just not mentally there)

Offensive players to keep: CP, Sellers, Rabach, Thomas, Samuels, Cooley, Davis, Yoder, Moss, Brennan. Everyone else is expendable.

Offensive players to replace in order of importance:
1) OT
2) QB
3) OG
4) WR

Defense:

- DE: 2 (JT was a bust, Carter was inconsistent, Daniels is old)

- DT: 2 (We have perhaps, the worst tackles in football)

- LB: 2 (Fletcher is great, the others not so much: Washington is injury prone at this point, Blades just isn't an every down LB, McIntosh is good but injury prone - when healthy he is a solid player)

- FS/SS: 1 (need a solid back up in case of injury and our backups right now are not good)

We are only as good as our last game. If that is the case, we are one of the worst teams in football right now. Our offense, literally, is the worst in football (not counting Detroit who is the worst in everything) --- this, IMHO, is a fact.

This team has a ton of work to do in the offseason. I can say with full honesty, that this is the worst I have felt about a redskins team since 2000. The fans deserve better than this.

Maybe this is just a rant, but I truly believe that the players on this team just don't care. I think that has alot to do with the crazy contracts Danny boy gives these guys, but they just don't care. They don't care about winning, about playing good football, and about playing for their passionate fan base. It's just plain gross.

pretty snazzy list there mark shark I like it I really think it is quite unique
should this be titled zorn with or wothout you. I personally hope to see the dline get to hold in the treanches and to be able to run and thats a total package W/ a good defensive end we may be able to fill in daneils
spot and coach up up abit....theyll be fine. Who knows maybe even sapp will come out of retirement.

can we somehow rebuild and trade the Owner+GM for Mark Cuban+Parcells(Tuna)? :D that would fix like 75% of the problems

How about something closer to home, maybe Ted Leonsis wants to trade up and own a football team.

Respectfully I'm just not buying it. How many INTs did JC have today? How many has he thrown this season?

I'm not really sure how good (or bad) JC is, but watching these losing games he doesn't really strike me as the big problem with our team. I brought up the fumbles, but JC also didn't let Cedric Benson rip off an 80 yard run off a screen pass. He didn't let Ryan Fitzpatrick and Joe Flacco eat up 7 minutes or whatever in the 4th quarter for two weeks in a row.

We've had some REALLY sad QBs in DC over the past 20 years. Tony Banks. Kent Graham. Woeful. Shane Freaking Matthews. You guys can probably name more. I'm just not ready to give up on Campbell yet.

Anybody watch the Jets play today? Yeah they have Brett Favre. But they also have FOUR first round draft picks on the offensive line. Favre stood back there with all the time in the world. That's why they're winning this season and why Thomas Jones is suddenly a stud RB.

We have neglected the o-line and d-line every single year in the draft. Everybody ignores it every April because yeah its a lot more exciting to draft a WR.

Personally as frustrated as I am tonight, I hope next September that Zorn is still our head coach and JC is still our starting QB. A little patience, a little stability.

I would certainly agree based on my experience at FedEx. Instead of sitting on their hands at the stadium, I'd rather they sat on their hands at home so Snyder doesn't benefit from them.

Not just the better O-line than us, but Favre has a QB rating very close to Campbell's, a ton more Int's, and is less dynamic than in Green Bay. Could it have something to do with no more elite WR's and a new system? Kind of like the problems JC is dealing with? I think so.

My contention has long been that the fans who would be vocal are priced out of the game. Snyder's "brilliance" in making money has rendered FedEx utterly worthless as a home field. Granted, the location of the stadium is not his doing but he's done absolutely nothing to make it more accessible in his time as the owner.

I concur. Snyder has failed on many fronts, but this one I find particularly egregious given his claim to be 'a fan'.

The Detroit Lions try harder then we do.

I'm unfortunate enough to live in southeast Michigan (the second worst place on earth behind the middle east), and this is true. I'd trade places with a Detroit fan in a minute right now.

Go ahead, no one is stopping you ... it's one thing to bemoan how badly this team has played, it's another thing to be envious of a team that's going to go 0 AND 16 ... that's just insane.

We look worse then the Lions do.

This is proof that people type illogical things when they are emotional!

I agree the FedEx field croud doesn't deliver, but I have never understood what prople have against the location of the stadium. It has a Metro stop less than a mile away. By car it is easy to get into and for most parts out of. I just don't get it. If you are getting stuck in traffic, maybe you should find some alternate routes.

Getting out of the parking lot can suck, but that is true of every stadium.

I think it's easier to pick what's right with the Redskins...and it's a pretty easy list.

- DB's -- I think that we have probably one of the 3 best secondaries in football
- LB's -- besides Blades who's limited, Fletcher and McIntosh have played very well this year.
- RB -- Sellars is one of the top 5 FB's in the game, Portis plays with a lot of heart and Betts is a capable back-up.
- TE - Cooley is decent, but I think he gets far to much credit for what he is. Below average blocker.

That's it.

I think the team needs to draft some heart along with some emotion. I've never seen a Redskins team that lets its self get pushed around and dominated with out fighting back. This goes for everyone on the team. Until they decide that getting punked by another team sucks I don't see anything changing.

Why is it so hard to see what is successful in this league and that our front office refuses to get with the program. I swear I think I could a better job than Vinny!!
It’s starts up front with the O-Line and D-Line look at the successful team…NYG, Titans, Pats, Steelers. Outside of Gibbs the Front Office has refused to listen to anyone or bring in anyone to “buy the groceries” Look at the turnaround in Miami!!!

The Skins look “very old” yesterday…the team needs a youth movement, they need guys playing for a contract, not with a contract. I’d like to see us cut as much cap space as we can even if it means taking a big hit the next two years.

To me Dan Snyder is the biggest problem right now, he’s needs to abandon this win now mentality and build from within. He’s a smart guy I just can’t understand why he doesn’t get it??? If I was him I’d be pissed with what I’m getting for my money. He has taken the luster off a once proud franchise and the coaching job in the process as evidence by his pick of Jim Zorn.

Sorry but for those of you who want him to sell the team that ain’t happening, and fans will continue to show up…if not ours than the opposing teams will!!
The only thing that would get his attention is if the franchise started to lose it value….how do we do that??

How about Atlanta???

It is not too complicated really:

Good GM + Good Head Coach + Good QB = SUCCESS !!!

People make or break a team. People make the difference. When we have POOR leadership at the top, it shows and trickles all the way down.

Would you go to battle with Dan Snyder as your commander?

Would you trust your life to the hands of Vinny Cerrato in a fight?

I would never trust these pair of bitches to cover my back and get me out if I was in trouble.

No, he's getting exactly what he wants for his money -- more money. He's proving one of my most closely held beliefs in sports: "Those who are overly obsessed with the bottom line of the ledger sheet doom themselves to the bottom line of the standings."

As a fan who first saw this team play in 82-83 with Riggo and the Hogs, I've always liked to see the Skins play a power rushing game with huge offensive linemen overpowering the opposing defense. Right now, I'd just like to see our offensive line compete with the likes of the Bengals. There are so many areas of need on this team, but totally rebuilding the OL has to be the most pressing.

They need upgrades on the OL and DL. If they get younger, faster and stronger on those two fronts I think everything else will work out. I can see Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly working out for us.

And PLEASE stop having ARE return punts.
