It takes a lot of class to come in here, under the situation that you do, and stand up for yourself as you have. No, what he did today was ruin thread after thread with insepid spite. Post after post with little basis on the previous ones, and constant bickering. Don't read the end of the threads.. read it all... don't read just this one, read the one I had to lock.

Truthfully, today Smizzy propogated the type of discussion and threads that I absolutely despise in any community, and will not be a part of. And running and crying for hope on the Jets board proved a lot to me... not that he got any help.

He didn't bring out the hog in me, he took the hogs out of the boards... he turned it into his own little theater... and I'm just not arrogant enough to do that to a board of 700 people.

I have no problems with the skins franchise....they are an NFL superpower..you have a great history and should be proud of it...i don't take any of that away from you and im not trying to tarnish any of you acomplishments...but the snyder regime has been horrible thus far...most of his decision are made by a fan not by a rational owner...you can say the jets are cheap/frugal but having the money money to spend and still doing just as bad as and worse then the Jets is sad when you think about the amount of money your paying your players.

2. Portis is not 5-10 170 or whatever pounds as you claim (5-11 204). I love the fact that because he isnt a Jet he is a overpaid RB that will be hurt within weeks of the season.
3. JG may not take us to the SB but will bring us back to respectability.
4. Keep your opinions as your opinions not factual information. You are the biggest martyr I think I have ever heard. You are not abused here because your opinion differs from ours its because you decide that you want to attack ours.

Anyway, lets get back to talking football. This kinda bullcrap should be on the Jerry Springer Boards.

I remember when Parcells and Curtis Martin were traded to the NYJ. The Jets mortgaged their future on the two to the Pats. Parcells and Martin signed the two biggest contracts of the time. Now look who's laughing in the AFC East.

Smizzy, now I understand why you think Gibbs and Portis will turn out to be a busts.

It's not that Gibbs does not know how to lose it's that when he loses he even looks good. Gibbs has lost games in the past but he has not had a really bad season since his first year. He takes the time to look at films and find little things that can help the team unlike the last coach which I truely belive just watched a couple football games and said good luck. Gibbs system is not a failing system. It has so maney threats that it's hard to stop. You have to find which weapon is going to be used and stop it. Once the D-line moves up to stop the run he passes...when they move back to stop the pass he runs or uses the TE. Not that different from the West Coast other than they use alot of short passes. Gibbs system is proven and with Zampese in the mix the team will soar. Every team that Zampese has helped has gone on to win superbowls!!! go skins

Smizz lets just agree to disagree and remember that this is a football message board. I understand that no one likes to be singled out and attacked by many. That was not the purpose for the posts I have made. I say lets end these types of conversations and talk some football. Agreed?

I don't want to get involved in all of this, but if you go back to when Smizzy first got involved, he made his post and everyone jumped all over him. Maybe it's because he has a Jets logo beside his name that makes everything he says seem like an attack or maybe it's his repuationt, but I can't say that he was out of line with his initial posts (and I have to say I agree with a lot of it).

It should also be noted that about three posts after Smizzy's first was:

I’m not defending everything Smizzy says or does because I haven’t read all his posts and I do think he tends to pick fights, but at the same time, posts like the one above contribute nothing except get everyone riled up. The result is five pages of bickering.
