I won't. Sure, to enter the halfway point at 6-2 is still great, but all three of those games are easily winnable. I don't want to see the sort of lapse of concentration that could cause this team to lose one of them.

Edit: Besides, every game is going to count come playoff time. I'd hate to see the 'skins sitting home come January because they let a game slip to a losing team.

being skins fans that we are, we unfortunately know what could happen with us.. i got us losing one of those games even though i feel we should CRUSH them.

since i'm going to the browns game i'm sure that'll be the one we lose.. i'm ready for all the blame

I fully expect us to win our next 3 games, they are against inferior opponents and the Rams and Browns are at home. HTTR!!

Im not ready to call the Rams inferior, this team scares me offensively, I dont know why they havent produced, frankly Im shocked by that.

They have played some decent opponents and come up short, I dont believe they are gonna look this bad forever, lets just hope they look bad for 1 more game. Defensively they are suspect, they dont tackle well and Santana is going to have a field day with that secondary, pass rush should be a non-factor.

Cleveland and Detroit on the other hand may be inferior.

Nothing Ive heard or read leads me to believe that this team is looking past the Rams game and thats a good thing

The Rams have not won a game yet. So I think they will throw everything they got against us. Of course I think we should win but you never know?

The Browns have been playing below there capability. They have talent and all that needs to happen is that they get it together. So out of three opponents we will be facing I worry about this one the most.
The Lions are ,well they are the Lions.

Hey everyone. Been out of the Forum for a while because of work-related reasons and loss of web connection. Glad to be back, specially because of the great position the team is in.

Now then, these next three games, and the Rams one in particular, are statement games.

If this year´s team wants to erase some the incosistent performance it has had over the past 10 years, it has to start now. These are winnable games. They should destroy the Rams just because that is what good teams do to lousy teams when they come for a home game.

The time is now for the team to crystalize what has been apparent for the first 5 weeks of the season: they are good team that clearly does not want to look back at past mistakes and errors. They have to take what is theirs and the Rams are the sacrificial lamb, to put it bluntly.

I'm taking the positive approach, we have a new coach, so we should go with a new attitude towards the team. I used to be a pessimist, expecting the team to be ahead and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Not this year. I love Joe Gibbs and everything he has done for us. But this is a new era, this team is a good team. Everthing is clicking right now, so sit back, enjoy it. Let's be positive, one game at a time. Stay positive, even if we don't get in, man, enjoy the ride.

7:12 in the 4th with a 6 point lead, and we didn't give the ball back. There is your statement right there.

I understand everyone's concern but I am not able to really feel that there is even a small chance that this Redskins team can lose this game this week - they have just beaten 2 of the better teams in the NFL and both games were on the road

The team will be riding a wave of emotion and the crowd will be jacked up - the weather looks like it will be in the mid 70s and I think the coaches are going to have this group so ready that we are in for a treat.

I'm sorry - St Louis is just not going to come into our house and have any chance of pulling out a win - just a bad week to visit DC - the natives are not going to be very hospitable

I agree. I think we win big this Sunday. We score early and often.

Rams defense against the run 28th and 27th against the pass that's enough said.

Skins 28

Rams 10

Yes, I'm a little concerned about not so much a let-down, but a softening of the team's intensity.

The Rams are coming off a bye-week with a new coach and qb, both out to prove themselves worthy of the job. Fortunately, it's at home.

A 1-point win is as good as a 30-point win.

Just win, Skins!!

anything can happen in the nfl,all three games are trap games . now with that being said this redskin team seems to be more focused than teams that we have watched lately. zorn will our boys ready to play and when the next three games are over WE WILL BE 7-1 !!!!!

I have been very worried, its the perfect spot to overlook an opponent, but with three teams in a row that are not real good should keep the club focused. I do worry a litlle more about Detroit with the MNF game vs pittsburgh that next week.

Darn it. Looks like everyone who was worried about a trap game was right.

I still remember that Dallas game in 1989.

We lost because we made mistakes not because it was a "trap game" or because the Rams played better than we did on offense or defense - that is an excuse - this Redskins team is still a very good team and actually will learn from these mistakes - we still look like the team of destiny this year.

It was a complete trap game, and that's why you saw the mistakes, and the uninspired line play. The Skins were probably on an emotional rollercoaster after Dallas and Philly, and the Rams had a week off to prepare for us. Total trap game.

By this definition, we play at least 16 trap games a year...

sorry cannot agree - IF they had outplayed us I might - we outplayed them and without a lucky TD they lose.

If we'd truly outplayed them, the fluke TD shouldn't have mattered. We should've destroyed them by 10+.

Yes this game was a disappointment and a big let down.

Hey we are still 4-2 and I would rather lose at home to the Rams than Dallas coming up in a few weeks.

Pete Kendall if that ever happens again please bat the ball down or fall on it!! I feel bad for Cooley very rare turnover for him but the way he fights for yardage it's bound to happen sooner or later. Bad Snap to Campbell but he has done a terrific job this year not turning the ball over.

Shake this one off boys and get back to work next week against the Browns. Keep up the run game with Portis but please get Moss back into the deep passing game!!!

Still the only QB to not throw an interception!!!
