I love the sounds of Eagles fans booing, its sweet music in a annoying kind of way.

Kudos to Zorn for sticking to a game plan that included many runs and a balanced attack. Nice day for

ey opening up the running attack.
And Barber only had like 26 yards last week...... HAIL

We're a very poised team, and we play better in the second half than the first, which was always a hallmark of a good team for me. I hate to do this...I really do, but under Gibbs I, we were always a great second half team. Gibbs II, we folded a lot in the second half.
This team is just full of heart, keeps working, and fights hard. I would have been happy with a 3-2 record after the first 5 games...ok with a 2-3 record (assuming we'd lose the 3 away NFC East games). It's almost inconcievable that we're 4-1, winning at Dallas and Philly.
Concur on all points. Just as we get better as the game goes on, this team is progressing week in and week out, a true sign of incredible coaching.
Zorn is definitely an impressive coach. As much as I've loved and respected Gibbs, I'm really excited to have Coach Zorn. The amount of confidence this will garner from the team and the players, only good things can come from it. The players see that their coach is trusting them to win a game. That builds confidence and character. Just amazing.

If they can play like this for 11 more games, we're looking at 11-12 wins, minimum, and that's just being pessimistic, since none of the teams they've yet to face are really all that scary. Just amazing. I never in my wildest dreams thought Zorn could pull that off, but wow. I just can't remember the last time the team looked this
consistently good. With no clear-cut favorite in the NFC, this team could go very, very far.

Not that any of you care, but I've been quiet during the games because of having a fellow Skin fan over to watch.
AWESOME game Skins!!! I thought it was going to be a blowout after those first two scores, yet you guys never gave up! This team shows so much fight and determination...I LOVE it!!!
4-1? Are you kidding me? This just feels soooooooo good!

Awesome! The last couple years, that game would have been over after we fell behind in the beginning. To fight back with poise and discipline to overcome the loss and win in convincing fashion... that's a team that has "it".
Very proud time to be a 'Skins fan. Proud of the team and the new coach. This is a helluva good group.

What an awesome game. I was watching at 'Coach's Corner' in Savannah, Ga., with my wife who is an Eagles fan, and telling her that the Skins would adapt... and I'll be damned if they didn't. What a game, she's pissed, but hey, we do this twice a year.... The Skins are truly impressing me, almost as much as they did in the eighties, but I don't want to get ahead of myself here...
It was nice to see 10 or more Skins fans representing in Savannah, we have a contingent.......
4-1....going to 7-1......

I wonder how many more games the Skins will have to win before they're finally recognized by the so called experts as ligitimate contenders? It cracks me up when these idiots keep picking against the Skins and the Skins keep proving them wrong ;0)

Their response to this win is to say that the Giants are the best team in football, that's just what they're saying.
For everyone who read or posted on my "Money or Redskins" thread listen to this...
So I go to work and my friend who's at the sports bar text's me and says The Redskins are down 14-0 and so I take lunch early and race to the bar, as soon as I got there we kicked the second field goal to go 6-14, From then on I stayed for the whole game and the redskins played great and won, yet the part I missed we went down 14 points, I'm convinced I must now watch all Redskins games or there is trouble. When I came back to work from a 2 and half hour 1 hour lunch break they we're like "where you been" I said something like it took me forever to get outta there.
Great Win

A few thoughts on the 'Skins this season:
1. How good does that loss to the Giants look now? At the time, I thought the team played poorly, but seeing how the Giants are destroying other teams, I think the 'Skins are right where they should be. I don't think they are better than the Giants right now, but give the team a few more games, and I think they will be as good a team as the G-men.
2. Skill positions: I remember early in the year one "expert" suggested that the 'Skins don't have talent at the skill positions. After five games, I think it should be clear that the 'Skins talent at the skill positions is better than most teams in the league, if not in the top two or three.
Portis>Westbrook, Barber, Jacobs
Moss>Burress, Moss=T.O., Moss>every WR on the Eagles

ey>J.W. and every other T.E. in the game not named Gonzalez.
Cambell has played better than every QB in the league with the execption of Manning.
3. The Skins schedule has been the most difficult in the league thus far and still the team is 4-1. The D has looked good against VERY good offenses and I think will only improve as the season progresses. They should be #1 or #2 in any Power Rankings for the season. Only the Giants, in my opinion, should be higher.
4. The 'Skins need to play above their competition. The last two weeks have been great, but the team as three "easy" games before the bye, and ALL of those games could be trap games. If they can win all three and beat Pittsburg before the bye, I see the team fininsing 12-4 and in the driver's seat for the division title.
5. Don't worry about Portis. I think if the team was playing the Rams or Browns, Portis would have been out a bit more. Remember, that guy is a gamer and he wants the ball in big games. I see him being used less the next three weeks, particularly if the 'Skins can get a good lead.
That's all folks, and Hail to the Redskins!

I am absolutely estatic that the Redskins are 4 - 1. I would not have been the least bit surprises at 3 - 2 or even 2 - 3 at this point and would have understood if they were 1 - 4. Jim Zorn and the Redskins team has done a superb job of playing tough agaist some outstanding teams. I don' t think they have played a team that was not in the top 5 defenses for the week.
Having read several posts concerning the last 4 years, I agree that the Redskins would not have been able to play the way they have for the last 4 games with Gibbs here. But we need to remember that these are the players Gibbs brought in. He just didn't know enough about today's NFL to use them the right way.
Thank you Joe Gibbs for getting these guys.
Thank you Jim Zorn for figuring out how to use them.
Thank you Redskins for beating Dallas.
Thank you Redskins for being 4 - 1.

Does anyone know how many consecutive field goals Suisham has now kicked. By my count it is 7 in a row.

Anyone saying the Dwarfs are the best team in football are basing that solely on their 4-0 record. Look at the quality of the Dwarf's opponents compared to that of the Skins. There's no comparison. The Dwarfs have beaten a bunch of nobodys, while the Skins are 4-1 against some of the best teams in football, and 3 of those games were on the road. I'm not saying the Skins are the best team, but I certainly think they're in the top 5 and are capable of beating ANY team.

One of those "nobodies" they beat, in case you forgot, was the Skins.
