article from NFL.com

http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=2 ... gamecenter

The Redskins' victory was only the second in Dallas in 13 years. ... Santana Moss had 121 receiving yards but was held without a touchdown for the first time this season. ... Tony Romo had the 13th 300-yard passing game of his career, tying him with Troy Aikman for the most in club history. ... Terrell Owens was held below 100 receiving yards for the fourth time this season. ... Chris Horton recorded his third interception of the season but has only made one start in 2008.

Why? The only NFL game on today has already been played. We won.

This is a valid game considering the're NFC East and we play them next week. I feel that if we can handle Dallas front 7, we can handle the Eagles.

ZORN -IS DOING A FANTASTIC COACHING JOB.
CAMPBELL- GETTING BETTER WITH EVRY GAME.
OFFENSE- CLICKING BETTER.
DEFENSE- GREAT ,BUT WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE PRESSURE UP FRONT.

I agree with this analysis. The 'skins just plain got handled by the Giants in Week 1, but have shown steady progress since then, and you have to love that kind of adjustment coming from the coaching staff. In that Giants game, the whole offense seemed totally unable to handle any sort of pressure, but since then, they've appear to have really worked on the quick passing game, and JC's reaction speed really seems to have shifted into high gear. Facing pressure, he's finding open receivers quickly and taking advantage of downfield match-ups. The play-calling was really good - wide open, and taking advantage of what the defense was doing. This team really has shown it's a contender, and it's light years ahead of where they were at the beginning of the season. I hope they keep it up. Zorn's got to let 'em enjoy this win, but keep focused on the rest of the season. I have a feeling he'll do that just fine.

My only two concerns were 1) the pass rush, and 2) injuries. Losing Springs and Smoot (although he came back in) was scary - Springs especially. Let's hope he's back to 100% for Philly and the rest of the season. We're definitely going to need those guys down the stretch. Looks like Smoot just got his bell rung, and he's fine. Regarding the pass rush, there was some contact on Romo, but no sacks, and there's got to be more pressure. Given too much time, most QBs in this league will pick you apart. Still, the d-line wasn't TERRIBLE on the pass rush, and they did shut down the run pretty well, so overall they get about a B. They showed a lot of heart.

This was a huge, huge win. In our division, you have to hold serve at home...losing a home game can be the difference between playoffs and sitting at home in the NFC East.

I really like our offense, Zorn, and our defense. We've got a very good team.

That being said, our offense has no turnovers in 2008. ZERO. That can't last, and often, that one or two turnovers per game is the difference between winning and losing. We've won our 3 games by close scores; watch the turnovers.

Extremely valid point but this game wasn't as close as the score indicated, we very well could have won by 2 TD.

I doubt that there is anyone on the board who was around for the previous glory years of the 40's. That means, it pretty much began for all of us old-timers with the arrival of Lombardi, no matter how long we had been fans before that.

If there's no question going into this game that the home team was the best team in football; after beating them shouldn't we hold that title? I think we should.

simply beating the "best" team doesn't necessarily make us the best.

if we continue to improve in all facets of the game, then we will be one day soon.
