Everyone is reporting that this move has nothing to do with JJ health. JLC has scooped everyone. Jansen is not the starting tackle because he has been in a battle for the left guard spot.

IMO: Jon just reworked his contract (again) so he'll be here awhile. With the recent injuries to his leg(s) moving him inside might prolong his career.

When you say it's "not his health" that really means it's not ONLY his health, it's always everything in these cases and clearly JJ hasn't been his old self. Which leads to as you said it recently came out they're looking at him at guard. I agree that could be a good move if it worked out. Heyer being ready to take over and own the right tackle position is still TBD as well. Anyway, more information, interesting, I still think none of this is certain for very long yet. But if Heyer did nail down RT and Jansen LG that would be awesome.

I will say that Bugel will have the players that he thinks will do the best job together on that line - that is also to say that while some of his players may be better than others, I am very sure that Bugel will play the players he knows will perform the best together and to his expectations.

I am looking forward to this group playing together for 16 games this year because I know that it will not be the same group next year and I think they want to go out and look back on a great year.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
