Agreed, as would the '85 Bears, and any of the Redskin teams. Tough defense and general smash-mouth usually beats finesse.

Consider it: the 10-6 Giants beat that team so perfect that they had copyrighted "19-0".

Considering size, compare the size of the Hogs in 1982 with the same players in SB 26. They got heavier. It's no big thing to bulk up.

Now Joe Jacoby did not get taller, of course. That might be a difference, but RB's and WR's are about the same height. Randy Moss is a big WR, and he's about the same height as Charley Taylor...who was drafted about 45 years ago. Kellen Winslow (the real KW) was big and fast in 1980, and would be just as fearsome today.

In 1993, the Cowboys used an OL on which almost everyone was 320. It was hard for defensive players just to get around the Cowboys OL. Almost fifteen years ago.
