Yeah, you and I probably have similar "six pack" abs...though mine's probably half a case by now!

I don't want to post it, but anyone who wants my cell number, just shoot me a PM. Sometimes it helps to find us if you can call and ask for help.
Also, I can give directions from the metro or try to give you directions to the proper lot, depending on where you are coming from.

You don't want 5000 calls from people like me? I can't imagine why not.

Ok guys I'm trying to get a number so if you're coming, please give me the number coming. Scott and I are doing something for the THN tailgating members.

Gonna be tough to actually get numbers Nik.
I just want everyone who CAN to show up...
Whatever you're doing up... I would say not to worry if you have enough, just to know that we're thankful for whatever you do. People who KNOW they're going though... could at least let Niki know to help her out... but the more the merrier... so if you didn't let niki know you were coming... that doesn't mean you can't come.
Staffers JansenFan, Fios, CLL, Irn-Bru, and Jake being there is one thing, but with John Welch making the trip down from NY, and a hot rumor about 1niksder trying to get there from Florida... you'll rarely get a chance to meet as many of the people that bring this website to you AT ONCE.
I'll be there

That ain't a problem... meeting new Redskin fans is why we HAVE a tailgate.
Just look for the banner...
The two ugly guys on the outside should both be there, but the stunning blonde guy in the middle will not be.
And this landmark usually means your getting close...

Hey guys, I just happen to be here in Maryland working on my Mom's house, getting it ready for sale. I'd love to get a ticket for the game and come pay respect to ST as well as meet fellow THNers at the tailgate.
I'm in the Burtonsville area in between Silver Spring and Columbia.
Anyone have 1 ticket for a long time Redskin fan stuck in Cowboy Land for 10 years? Haven't seen the Skins play since RFK.

I am coming up from NC for my first game ever. I would like to stop by and put faces with names.

I'm gonna try to get to the THN tailgate but right now, I'm not 100% sure if I can. The folks that tailgate around me called me and asked me to help them with their Sean Taylor tribute plans. I've been tailgating with these people all year and feel I owe it to them to help them. If I can sneak out, however, you'll see me.
On a side note, I just did receive 30 RIP Sean Taylor patches that I ordered today. I'll be passing them out on Sunday so people can sew them to their jersey.

For those who will be there, we will have a wood-bound memorial book which we encourage you to sign. We will be sending the book to Sean's family. You can simply sign it or use it to send a short message to the family.

Couple of things...
Bob... nice looking crew except for the one on the right.
sch1977 - great stuff man... glad you can make it and wish i was there to meet you, but you're defintely going to meet more of the THN staff in one place than I think has ever been gathered at once.
Still waiting to hear on 1niksder, but the rumor that he might be there is still a hot one.
And Fios... I really appreciate you grabbing the book. Thanks brother.
I had lots of thoughts about ways to give people something to sign like a nice photo of sean blown up, or a poster... but in the end... when people have been passing it round all day, there wouldn't be much left of it. Fios grabbed this book so that when all was said and done, we would hopefully have something tasteful and meaningful that we could send to the Taylor family. Again brother... thanks a lot for making it happen, I really do appreciate it.
Folks, please take the time to sign the book when you're at the tailgate... we will likely have a table set up with the book on it and maybe some of our own photos of Sean that we've taken... and we very much want you to help us honor this man's life. If you have pictures of Sean that you personally have taken... please print them and bring them with you for us to put out as well. I know we have some great photos of Sean with his smile lighting up the frame, and I think it would be really nice if we could send those along with the book.
Probably more stuff to come down the pipe, so stay tuned, but as I said at the beginning of this thread... regardless of where you normally tailgate or hang out befoe a game... let's get the THNers together this week and have a celebration for Sean.

Some questions about parking and getting to the THN spot:
The parking setup is a bit puzzling, so I'm inclined to get to the Landover Metro (been going to New Carrolton since before the Metro, so that's known territory). Then take a shuttle bus.
Does that make sense?
Otherwise, the cash parking seems a looooong way from anywhere.

there is also a metro stop on morgan blvd. don't know how far the walk is to the tailgate, but i believe it's the closest stop to fedex.

Hope everyone made it home safe...thinking especially of families that live west near the mountains. It got up quite a rain-storm.
Just pure delight to actually see real Hogs Net people, including some of the people who keep this site alive.

Yeah, thanks to everyone who made it out to A72. It made a tough day a little easier having people who felt the same to talk to. We won't be at the final two games, but we'll try to organize something in the off-season for next season.

I had a great time and was glad to meet everyone out there!
As an extra bonus for me, look who I found on TV!
Thanks to everyone for a great time! I wish we would've won, but apart from that I can't complain about the time I had!
