As if Brandon Lloyd is a huge talent that the coaches are allowing to languish on the bench because they hate winning football games.
Through 7 games Lloyd has caught 2 passes for 14 yards.
It's asinine to assume that the infrequency which Lloyd is used is its own problem.
Perhaps Lloyd is not performing well in practice, maybe he's not getting open, maybe he hasn't got a good relationship with Jason Campbell... regardless, if Lloyd were playing better, he'd be seeing more balls thrown his way.
Until then, I'm not really sure he should be getting looks over Moss and ARE who are playing well.
From this week's inside slant:
Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell has started just 15 games, but he's taking it upon himself to make sure that wayward receiver Brandon Lloyd gets back in line after being held out of last week's game after missing a team meeting on Friday.
"At this level, guys have to take it upon themselves to make sure they're doing things they need to do, make sure they're in the right place at the right time," Campbell said. "You talk to the guy and you encourage him. I don't know the reason behind Brandon missing the meeting. That's between him and coach Gibbs."
Lloyd, typically, was unavailable for comment.

Another inexcusable lack of effort by Brandon Lloyd, personally I am sick of his shtick.
Why on Earth would Brandon Lloyd be part of any team's plans unless they were tanking for a draft pick?
In any case, it warms my heart to see James Thrash having a great day. Who needs Lloyd? Not this football team.

the full out dive that once again JC missed on him with? or the one where he went up with two defenders and tried to draw a pass interference?
no he hasn't been productive here but he gives effort and if he would get more than 2 or 3 passes or plays for that matter (usually a deep ball overthrown) then he would produce
is all the hating being caused because he stopped after a pick in the miami game where the guy looked as if he was just going to take the step out of bounds?

Out of about 6 passes thrown to LLoyd this year, less than half were catchable.

Ok, catchable.... How about thrash, or McCardell, how many times have they been thrown to? And how many have they caught. Jason Throws to a spot when he's running, aka lead, Jason cannot lead him any less than what he gave him last sunday. I say that cos if he gives him less, and the defender has a chance on it, given Bloyd's ability (disability) to turn from reciever to defender, I can't say I blame Jason on that one. Now on Tana, he has over thrown him, bad very very bad, I think he's used to tana being full speed. With thrash and Mcardell, he fit the ball in the window provided, cos the recievers made a hella effort to give him that window.

Fixed.
