As far as Barkley, I think he's hilarious, but that's me. Also, TV is not about objectivity - it's about sales and entertainment, or more simply - MONEY. How many damn commercials did we have to wait through. So many times after kickoffs they could have let the drive start and I don't think that happened once.![]()
This trend is not something unique to ESPN, news stations and other forms of journalism are all turning into entertainment. MNF booth is just one more extension to that. Deal with it, it's the age we live in.
Yeah, I agree that wasn't cool. Even though I loved seeing Barkley, Tony, and Jaws rip into the Philly fans they didn't cover the game there like they should have. I mean, they need to say that stuff when there is not a play going on or after they've made their comment on the play.
But it was still great hearing them Rip the Philly fans for about 20 minutes. I was laughing so hard at that!
