I've missed 2 so far, but we differ on both games tonight. I may still win the week yet.
May the best Hognosticator (for this week) win.

I'm going to play Brunell to your Cowboys, and pull it out at the end.
How's that for irony?

Let us count, shall we?
1 St Louis
2 Kansas City
3 Oakland
And you and many others were lucky in that Denver win. Very lucky.
Plus two more losses tonight ... would that add up to 5 losses?

And I was a math major in college.
I could still tie, and take it into OT!

Oh well, good show TRO. Of course, I know who'll end up on top at the end of the season.

The
Hognostications Weekly Standings for NFL Week 1have been posted. Nine posters got between 13 - 3 and 15 - 1
We did as well or better on average than the ESPN "pros":
Theismann 11-5
Salisbury 12-4
Hoge 12-4
Jaworski 12-3
Schlereth 11-5
Allen 6-10
Mortensen 10-6
Golic 9-6
Great job! We have a few newbies in the top spots and even a fluke.
Remember guys, this competition is about -CONSISTENCY-.

Good grief, what a week. Who would think you could've gone 11-5 and still end up nearly in the bottom 1/3rd of Hognosticators?

You should be happy. You are in good company with Mr. Theismann and Mr. Schlereth.

11-5 has me in prime position to surge into mediocrity as this season goes on. But it's a heck of a lot better than I did in most weeks last year

If you can keep your current percentage of about 68% -throughout- the entire season, you might become champion. The top winning percentages were between 60% and 65% last season.
