LOL I always thought you name was Nik or Nick or some variation. And that was a clever way to write Nickster. LOL I'M SO SLOW. I hope I'm not the only one that didn't get that. Great name.

Mine's straight forward as well. Redskins - ah, that's easy and 1974 is when I was born. I couldn't think of anything creative at the time :-)

I guess I'm stuck with it now!

Wormer is the final version of a nickname I had back in the day.

I was notoriously late for a summer job I had (Hey! I was the boss so it was ok) -anyway- the guys I was working with started saying, "Early bird catches the worm" whenever I came in late. It quickly morphed from that phrase to worming, wormster, worm barn (???), and finally wormer.

I, too, thought about when I was born...

...again, that is  .

While deciding on a name, I tried to come up with something that either used "Hogs" or "Redskins". I wanted to express my faith in both my Savior AND the team (in that order). :D

Add to that the fact that Joe's team is stocked up with other believers, it was only fitting that I pay homage to the great things that this core group of Redskins has in common, their faith.

In the beginning I was RED(EEMED)SKIN, and a lot of people understood what I was professing; I disliked peeps just calling me "Red". Shortly after I dropped the parentheses and "came out" in complete redeemed form.

My avatar contains (should contain) the four Redeemedskins I most admired: Joe, Patrick, Mark Brunell(MB is missing --- still negotiating with the NFLPA, apparently  ), and, yes, Danny Wuerffel.
I would have included Darrell, but that would have been too controversial on this board.

You know how your Godparents or aunts will always tell the baby he/she'll be a heartbreaker when they grow up. Well thats where mine came from. They used to call me luva luva when I was younger and it stuck a bit. Its not something they call me in public street tho.

i've always been a fan of the movie 'my cousin vinny', and there's a part where billy greets vinny (in the jail cell) and calls him vinniebagadonuts. it just sort of stuck with me (which is odd considering that i've seen the movie about 400 times), and friends started calling me joebagadonuts. given my heritage, it seemed appropriate. despite the fact that this is a redskins board, i wanted something that was independent of the skins.

plus, i do enjoy a fresh donut now and then, and thought the name might help the donut industry.

I got around to see office space. I knew from the opening when he was stuck in traffic that I'd be able to relate all to well to this movie. My father loved it also. I'll be moving on to the others shortly.

I took my name about 8 or 9 years ago, I heard on the radio that Swathmore college students wanted to change their nickname and "War Mothers" was one of the choices. I liked the sound of it so I have been using it online ever since. I'm not sure what Swathmore ever ended up calling itself.
