go watch some tapes of the Panthers games last year and tell me how many DROPPED balls Keyshawn had.. how many times he couldnt get open and how many touchdown passes he botched... but YEAAA lets add a 35 year old reciever who disrupts locker rooms isnt needed and will be gone in a year..

for the last time that is what got us to where we are at.. all the fans that keep saying we need to change the way our FO works and not add the free agents and the quick fixes .. then all of a sudden you want to go and do exactly that.. why? because his name is well known

yes the guy from North Carolina has not seen any panthers games...well good luck with that one....all i know is that he did produce actually he produced more than moss did last year
55 catches and 790 to Johnson's 70 and 815 im sure he is awful since he out produced our number one wide receiver

Santanna Moss also only caught 45% of the balls recordedly thrown his way...Johnson 55%
I know that some of that goes to brunell throwing the ball away but the Panthers offense had almost no rushing game and a worse offensive line than the redskins so Johnson can not be too bad.

I am not saying that I think Johnson at this point in his career is better than Moss but I am saying he is still better than Randel El and Lloyd..which is evident by his numbers being better even though Lloyd gets paid a lot more to not score 1 touchdown all season

Someone to keep and eye on WR Carl Berman out of Ill. State. He ran a 4.29 unofficial time and is fast fast fast...he has been invited to the mini camp and he led his team in receptions last year. However, he is a complete burner will no size. 5-10 170

Other than money issues i can't see why the majority exists. But the money is important since we have none left.

Yet another example of how we are always mentioned in these things.

But it's not April 1, so I'm baffled by the suggestion.

Instead, why not sign Art Monk?

Mr 81 is probably faster than Keyshawn Johnson, he certainly has better hands, he can take a hit when he goes over the middle. Come to think of it, if you count all the games each played in, who has a better winning percentage: Art Monk or Keyshawn Johnson? Who is a proven winner: Art Monk of this guy Johnson?

I have a thought. We could get all of our WR those inserts designed to meke you an inch taller or platform Cleets. It may slow em down a bit, but they would be taller.

As far as Meshawn goes he would be a good addition at veterans min, but nothing more.

That might be one of the best things I have read on here ! And we all do it.

OK...I was joking before. K Johnson might be as fast as Art Monk, at last. Monk still is tougher, smarter, and a better example. Yes, I know the age difference, but give Monk a month to work out and I'd bet on Monk.

We talk about team chemistry. That wins. Johnson is just another Michael Westbrook. A consistent loser as a player, a bad teammate. Who was more valuable to the Jets -- on the field -- Chrebet or Johnson? Who wrote a book that called Chrebet nothing more than "a mascot"? Who stepped forward when it mattered: Chrebet or Johnson?

Given that, and given who coaches the Redskins, I can't imagine how Johnson fits on the team. Even as the guy who drives the team bus.
