Dude, you won't have to change your name at all! You'll just have to change your Avatar to the team that Champ goes to!

Actually if you think about it - for example - PRam was drafted in the first round, a QB and he signed for 5.7 million dollars. It is the top 5 draft picks, the ones that most people feel will make the most immediate impact, supposedly almost guaranteed that get the big paydays in SIGNING BONUSES, but they have a limit on the salaries that rooks can earn if I am correct...

They should get Bobby Taylor.

Taylor or Vincent would be short term fixes... they are good and hard hitting, but they won't be there long

Bailey gets burned in the NFC, Toomer owns him, and the Cowboys and Eagle have had good games against him. I have also noticed that Bailey was only 50/50 against Harrison, Owens, Moss.
But what gets me is that his attidue as been really negative, after 5 years he does not seem like a true Redskin.
Don't get me wrong, Bailey is a top 3 CB in the league. And I sport his jersey at Skins games...but if we can remove his cap figure and get a 1st this year and next that will give us 4 1st round picks over 2 years.
This year we could get KEVIN JONES & SEAN TAYLOR and could afford it w/out the Bailey cap and Bruce Cap figure.
Then we can get a CB like Plummer, Springs, or Winfield (who played for Greg Williams last year).
Plus we still have #5 in the 2nd round and could get a DTackle (Starks or Docket).
And pick up some free agents (Kearse, Coleman, Washington).
Look at the big picture. Sometimes change is good. Look how the Patriots reacted after cutting Milloy.

If it happens that Champ does leave, the team will still be successful. With him or without him.

Please define "true Redskin" for me please.

I responded to this in the thread about people who are bashing Chump...
I still think the fool will be sorry he leaves.
He should have grabbed this contract and run with it and been friggin grateful as heck considering his numbers have been downsliding. But of course it is ALL about the money. I hate the almighty dollar worshippers.
If he loved the team, it wouldn't be ALL about him and the money.

I agree I think he will be sorry he left. With Gibbs back in the fold the Skins we get back to their winning ways and Champ deserved to be a part of that.

Seriously - we are a lot stronger than people think - we have a good QB, good WR, I think the RB sitch is better than people know due to Spurrier not knowing how to run the ball, the LB are strong and the secondary will be stronger with a better DL. The only two areas I think need real work are the TE and the DL as well as maybe a punter. I forgot who asked me if I thought we were close to being Superbowl material, and this is my answer - with Gibbs and Williams and some solid offseason moves I believe we can get the final keys to a very serious contender. I wouldn't hesitate to say that if we get the right linemen for the D and good TEs for blocking and the occasional catch we can go 10-6 if not better and be competitive in the playoffs.

I counldn't agree more, I know we all think it's gone by a wild ride this offseason, but if Gibbs gets his Vet QB and it's seemed they were trying to lock Champ up. Then address d-line in the FA market, I think maybe they'd been happy with that and all that would be needed is some good ole fashion coaching!!

What is the fastest car that exist to the Human being, cause that is the car that Baily needs to get out of Redskin City!!

Finally DEHog, I don't totally agree with you. I don't think it would be necessary to get a vet QB back there. The competition would be nice, but not the $$ to get him. I think Ramsey and Hasselbeck both did everything that was asked of them and would be able to continue forward with this team with the proper coaching. I think we finally have the coaching, so let's work on both lines and then worry about what comes next. If you protect Ramsey, he'll shine.

I already forgive, Wysocki. I've been one of "those" people.

I know, I know...and that big '24' sure looks good...I can't believe Snyder hasn't nudged Bruce out the door already; we don't owe him a thing (sorry, this is a variation on a theme that's been done to death but I wanted to pile on) - Bruce, take yourself and your friggen 'all time sack leader' coins that you had minted and go back to Buffalo. The only way to endear yourself to us is to retire, NOW. (Did anybody buy one of those coins?)

I agree, Mr Jake. We need Baily back, somehow, someway.[/quote]
Were you serious with this response? Because it is totally opposite of what else you have said regarding the issue.
