I am no Mark Brunell apologist, but people keep saying that he underthrew B Lloyd on that play....actually on sideline routes like that, when there is man to man coverage and the receiver is paralell to the defender, the QB is taught to either throw the ball over the defenders outside shoulder OR to throw the ball short and to the outside so that the receiver (who is looking backwards) has a chace to turn and catch the ball before the defender gets his head turned around.

I think if Mark throws the ball straight away there, its either incomplete or intercepted....needless to say the play was called back anyways...but just to shed some light on it.
