Luckily the first game is against the Vikings, who are starting Brad "Deadarm" Johnson at QB and Travis Taylor as a wideout....
I don't understand why people are overlooking the Vikings. We lost to teams last season that are far worse than Minnesotta. As for "Deadarmd" Johnson, he had a better passer rating last season than Brunell. If Portis doesn't play then the Vikes also will have the best running back on the field in Chester Taylor. While their receivers aren't that great, Troy Williamson is very dangerous and will be tough for out corners to cover without Springs. Our D is superior, but the Vikings probably have the edge in the kicking game. I expect us to win but I think it will be a low scoring, close game.

Johnson can't throw deep. That will allow us to stuff the box.
