He'd get lynched before they'd let him.

Before getting to the Star or before getting on the team?

Either way I don't think BP wants the headache, and reports are Tampa and NYJ are already having trade talks with the Iggles

I wouldn't say that, look at Bill's past, with the Giants he had LT who not only had an attitude but was a crack head, than he went to New England and had Terry Glenn (do I really need to explain this), than he went to the Jets and got Bryan Cox who was a huge headace and Keyshaun, than went to Dallas and picked up Keyshaun and Terry Glenn. Parcells has a huge ego and thinks he will fix anyone including TO that is why I am perdicting TO to Dallas. Dallas is a bunch of thugs anyways he would fit right in. Tampa are you joking they learned their lesson with Keyshaun. They have Clayton and Galloway.

You started off making sense and then you totally lost it.

First of all, there are no thugs currently playing for the Dallas Cowboys.

None.

There may be some overpaid fat men, but that's something else.

You're right about BP taking chances on such players as LT, Cox, Keyshawn, etc.

Big difference though.

1)LT is arguably the greatest LB of all time and only started being a crackhead after the fame hit him. As long as he played ball and wasn't a nuisance, Parcells put up with im.

2)Cox was getting on in age and was finally getting the message. BP laid down the law on him and he accepted his responsibility.

3)Keyshawn and Glenn...not making excuses for the two at all, but realize that they came from broken homes. In Key's case, not even a home, but a car in LA. Glenn's mother was killed when he was a kid. When Parcells first got them, they were a couple of punk kids. 22, 23 years old about. They didn't know jack about chemistry of the team. ou gotta admit that 10 years later, Keyshawn is a hell of a lot more mature than many thought he would be, and until that public drunkeness the other day(and that really scares the hell out of me), Glenn was a model citizen.

That being said, you're right in that Parcells MIGHT take a chance on TO. And the more I hear about it, the more it makes sense.

BUT...and you can hold me to this. If that guy shows up one day wearing my team's helmet, I will hate him no less than I do right now. He provides a big play target, but it won't mean jack if the offensive line can't protect Bledsoe more than 5 seconds at a time. That's why I feel we target someone else. I'm happy with the group of receivers we have right now. Got two young ones who I think are pretty good.

No TO jerseys for me.

When Parcells left New England, Glenn had problems with the Patriots and the Packers, before going back to Parcells. After Parcells (do you even remember Keyshaun in Tampa and the problems he caused, or did I just dream that) than he went back to Parcells and has no problems. Byran Cox was a problem and Parcells fixed it, just like he thinks he can fix TO.

You know what if Owens wasnt such a loud mouth a-hole and a cocky smart alec then I wouldnt mind signing him. But I mean he gripes and groans about this and that, someone should just tell him like it is. That hes not going to get every thing he wants. He should be happy he has a job or well HAD a job. Hes lucky he can play football. Look at that one kid in Maryland who got injured during a game and is now in a wheelchair cause he cant play anymore. And owen is gonna freakin complain because the eagles dont recocnize individual achieviments. But he would be great addition to the skins. Think how far we could go. All this tlent we just have to figure out how to put it to good use. We can make the superbowl if we try were the greatest team in the world And us fans are the greatest fans in the world. Do you know why? CAUSE WERE REDSKINS FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HTTR HTTR HTTR

I do think this time around he will be on his best behavior, for a couple of reason. 1. to prove eveyone wrong that he can be a good guy cuz now everyone assumes he will be a headache and 2. After Phila just deactivated him and not take his crap! he probably relized that he can't do that again otherwise he will be at home again. You know he really wants to play it is in his blood to be competative. If you can get him relatively cheap right now and on a short 1 or 2 year contract, that would be pretty good. I really feel he will be a good guy again. I would love to have him on one side and Moss on the other, think how sweet that would be.

With Gibbs its not gonna happen, and I don't want it to happen.

So, if he was guaranteed to be a team player and not run his mouth off, you wouldn't want him? I beg to differ. I would love him in a Skins Uni if he could some how 100% be a team player and listen.

SkinsRin --

If he must be a team player and listen -- forget it. I don't know if Owens is capable of this. Maybe this year has humbled him -- but I certainly wouldn't spend a lot of money on the guy. His pay would NEED to be based on incentives -- catches, TD's and more importantly -- getting along with others and if he goes off - he understands that he's outta here. His pay would reflect his ability to get along.

I think you just made the point - and that is only a small fraction of the 100 reasons why this no account, low life, franchise ruining, bucket of slime cannot be a Redskins team player. Apart from that I think he will enjoy his stay here!

You made a good point there! =D>

I'm on record as saying Houston, NO or Oakland. At any rate, out of the division. Parcells isn't that crazy.

Somebody bumped it. Not me.
You wouldn't believe how often Snyder's name comes up in connection with Owens, though.
It's almost got me thinking....

Owens a Redskin?

Maybe if Spurrier was still coaching and Dan Snyder still acting as GM. Not with Gibbs.

Anyplace else? It's hard to imagine any team so desperate or so stupid.
