Jimoh....

I think Lavar Arrington would be a better corner than Jimoh.

we are not getting a rush from our d-line -- it is absolutely killing us. Wynn probably made his play of the year. Ever hear his name, Daniels, heck -- who else plays dl for us? Griffin is the only guy that does anything...
It is by far the weakest part of our team -- by a lot!

They threw it?! Fine by me! Redskins have a shot, not much but I woundn't count them out. Then again I wouldn't bet on it.

And Griffin was injured down the stretch.

At this point, I'm very skeptical.
Redskins deserve to lose this one!

Talk about stinking it up and shooting yourself in the foot all game long. Just a ridiuclous performance for the Redskins. This game totally reminded me of a Norv Turner coached team. I think Gibbs is going to be steamed coming off this loss. All those hard earned yards for nothing.

It's over, better luck next time; maybe Gibbs can do something about the fumbles cause it was just bad.

point blank...
1.) 2 Red Zone Turnovers killed us !!!
2.) The Defense couldn't stop anyone the past two games.
With us turning the ball over too much the past two games his translates into 0-2. I know we started 3-0 but we're now 3-2 and we need to win the next 2 games or we're in BIG trouble considering the division we're in.

Feel about the same as I did after the Denver loss. Many positives, mainly the fact that we seem to be able to move the ball at will. Once again, it took a lot of things for us to lose today. Turnovers killed us...
Injuries are absolutely hurting us on defense. We need Springs back badly. I like Rogers, but he needs to more time on the pine. Jimoh should now be called 50/50. For every good play...
Injuries are really exposing how average our front 4 are. They just cannot generate any pressure whatsoever by themselves and that's what they've had to try to do with GW handcuffed by the teams injuries. Griffin is a stud, but he gets double teams on almost every play. We need more talent on the defensive line. Hopefully Lavar can get his act together and start playing a little DE.
Seems odd, but I just can't get down too much on our team. They look explosive on offense and hurt on defense. When it all comes together, we will be unstoppable. We've come a long way even from last year, not to mention the last 10 years or so.

This loss was way more frustrating than the Denver loss!

Every game we get so many yards compared to the other teams so few yards, yet we can't put points up on the board.
I think our offense is almost becoming more vital than the defense, key word almost. But out defense is great, especially in the 4th quarter, but please can somebody snipe Ade Jimoh or something. HE IS TERRIBLE!
This week in practice, our main goal should be Red Zone Offense. I mean when we are in the Red Zone we need to score a lot more. Not neccessarily TD, but we at least need to come up with some points.
Yes today was a great effort with many posotives, but I feel this loss is 25x worse than the Denver loss.

I blame the offense more so with the 3 turnovers that led to 10 kansas city points. The Chiefs are top notch offense and they are going to get their points, and with the Redskins playing without Springs does not help considering the Jimoh factor. I think people are figuring out how to play the Redskins; by stretching the field, and throwing to where Ade Jimoh is. The Chiefs simply executed and did not commit stupid turnovers like the Redskins.

pretty upsetting loss but we still can come back home and go 4-2. We should keep our heads up they had some huge plays against us -like the 60+ yard fumble return that made the difference in the game. We need to equal the turnover margin

That Holmes run Lavar would have stopped. Some man was holding Holdman (heh heh get it) Lavar would have thrown that guy off of him.

one positive i take from this game is that we have great run support from our corners. on most of the outside runs, walt harris and carlos rogers made GREAT tackles, open field tackles at that. negatives...we're not winning any turnover battles, although our defense is still smothering. i got one word that may just solve that...and there's 50 pages of posts in reference to it.

Holdman sucks. Phillip Daniels can't tackle...Holdman Sucks...Jimoh needs to be cut...and we keep shooting ourselves in the foot with the turnovers.
Rock Cartwright...
Good thing the Pukes won, now everyone in the NFC East has 2 losses.

obviously i can't be too hard on brunell since he's done so well in general for us this year. but how can a long-term veteran guy like that make two totally boneheaded fumbles like that? totally inexcusable.
the only remotely positive thing i take out of this game (which was a mirror of last week, in which we handled the other team but were only beaten by a combination of ourselves and some horrendous officiating), is that if we can get fully healthy (portis, betts, defensive secondary), the game might not even be close by the end.
hopefully San Fran will be a nice respite next week so we can go into the final 10 games healthy at 4-2, a pretty good position to be in (though pretty infuriating when you would probably be 6-0 without the terrible refs!).

I know!!
Carlos Rogers is a GREAT tackler. He was the steal of the draft.

the first fumble wasnt a bonehead play at all, it was just a great play by the defender. he was getting blocked and he just stuck his arm out and swatted the ball, that's a very common occurrence that can't be solely blamed on a qb, no matter his age/experience.
the second one, i just gotta say to mark brunell, YOU ARE NOT MICHAEL VICK. i know you've made some great runs for us this season, but when there is nowhere else for you to go, just fall down and take the yards that you have, stop trying to force it. that one, i will give you that it was a bonehead play.
warrick holdman...can't tackle. i agree. whoever said jimoh shuld be named 50/50 is right, except for every good play there are 50 bad plays. so its really 1/50.
i really hope we just hand san frans arse to them on a silver platter. that sean taylor video i posted, i want to see another one from this season with about a minute of highlights just from this game, if you catch my drift.

4-2 should put us back on top in the NFC East...we need to get back to our winning ways...Lavar was out there for 1 play?? This is an emarrassing situation with him especially when Holdman sucks.

Too many mistakes ...
We defeated ourselves as much as they helped themeselves by making no errors and taking advantage of the little that was made available to them,
I suspect that Cartwright shot himself in the foot with Joe.
Jimoh's penalty was the dumbest thing to do at the end of the game. But it is unfair to blame it all on that play. We are thin and hurt at CBs and still they could not pass. We played well against one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL.
This loss hurts but we are in the middle of it in the toughest division in football.
Hail to the Redskins!
