I got off work around 2:30. Cut up some cheese, veggies, and stopped off at a pizza place and got a take-n-bake pizza. My inlaws came over with my Wife's brother. I watched a bit of the the early game. Then i flipped over to channel 629 which is comcast sports net and watched Monday Night Live and then the pregame. Once kickoff started I had to explain why I couldn't eat (Nervous). Then I had to explain some other aspect of the rivalry and the game. As we were getting our butt kicked somehow my Wife and her whole family got into an argument and they went home. I went to our room to watch the game b/c they were fighting over something stupid. Once they left S.Moss cought the first TD. Then they got on the phone and argued and then the 2nd TD. I don't know but hey, if it gets us wins. Who cares. But my wife said that she's never seen me so happy over a win. I felt my eyes welt up a bit..I didn't cry though.

The night was good and got better. Has some friends over for both games. I am from New Orleans originally, so all of my N.O. friends came over and we ate Red Beans and Rice (N.O. Tradition on Mondays) and watched the first part of the Saints v. Giants. When the Skins game came on we switched the HD to split screen and watched both. I had the wireless set up in the den so we could get updates through http://www.redskins.com When we knew the Saints were finished we watched the Skins roll on. I would say it was a pretty damn good Monday night.

Yes it was. I wore my yellow shirt w/ my burgandy tie today at work. The eagle fans and cowpuke fans all laughed at me but i just said 1 and 1 and pointed at them....then i said 2 and 0 and pointed at me...they gave me crap. The cowboy fan just said we blew it.

This is the exact feeling I had. A table full of crappy cow pies fans just giving me the business all game. 3 qtrs of no TDs, 15 of 14, no wins in Dall(smells like)as since '95...on and on they went.

Then came my crappy Madden impression. "BOOM" we're back in this thing.
"BOOM" hey, we're in the lead.

After Taylor's hit I went temporarily insane.

After Harris' stop, five Cowpie fans walked out of the place while I reveled nay, wallowed in all our Monday night glory! A lone Skins fan in Mark Brunells' home town of Orcutt,CA!
How sweet it is!

I feel ya, man. What a SWEET victory for you, oh brave diehard fan, in that town, surrounded by Cow pukes to endure that type of torture the whole game until the last 3 minutes, then ALAKAZAAAM!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE ARRIVED!!! And stolen ALL the glory of the previous 56 minutes, LIKE THAT! Snap! Cowpukes out to pasture!

It took a TRUE TEAM to comeback like that. It took Gibbs and ALL his decisions, Brunell's fortitude, focus, and DRIVE (you can see his HEART is in it), FAITH, and of course, our Defense to be them-awesome-selves.

Ike075,

You are SO funny. I told people at work about these posts and they all laughed. Will tell them you continue to jump!!
Man, it was SOOOOOO good to prance into Raven's territory for work today, wearing burgundy shirt, my Redskins ID holder as always, and a "We beat Dallas" smirk on my face the whole day. The Cowboys fans bowed in defeat, knowing they could not say a thing, as they have pulled the "You played well all game but we will steal it from you in the last few minutes" ALLLLL too often. HE HE HE.

waiting for jake to come home so i can talk to him about the game because my daughter just doesn't care...if i wasn't there at the tme, i'd swear she was adopted. me and jenkins (the dog - named after #88 james jenkins) snuggled on the couch and watched the game together. got tired of getting up to wind up the hail to the redskins music box every time we scored - moved it to the couch with us after the 2nd td.

For some reason I am not as pumped as the first Cowboys win. Dont get me wrong, I am happy and proud of my team, but I jumped around like a crazed animal after the Monday Night Win. Well looks like the Cowboys were shipped out of town with a lost via Fedex.

I think that it was the way we won both games. They kicked our butts the first game and in 4 mins we won. In this win we kicked their butt the whole game.

I posted a tale of sorrow the last time we beat the Cowboys (it's so regular now!) as I had set my VCR to record the game over here in the UK, and my local cable company blanked the entire game.

Today made up for it in so many ways. I watched the game with my buddy (a cowgirls fan) and I have never heard him so quiet.

I predicted two things today - that Cundiff would hit that first FG to the right, and that Cooley would go in for 3 TD's.

Yeehah!

I agreed to work today way back when the game was a 1pm kickoff so I was screwed.... Until I spotted a 10' B&W on the way to work

My voice is frickin gone. This was the best game I have seen at Fedex field. The Cowboys frickin quit after the dagger on their forst possession. The puke fans were ALL gone by the two minute warning.

Good seeing the usuals and CLL, as well as meeting Chris Hanburger (the poster, not the player).

The game did not start here till 10pm and I had to
be up for work at 6. It was worth it though cause....
well you guys know why. Best game I've ever seen the
Skins play aginst Dallas. Payback's a mother. What I
loved most was the fans. They were so intence and into the game. Can't wait to come back to the states
to see them play live next year.

The game started at 6:00 a.m. Monday morning in Seoul.

Every week there are games on AFN (the Armed Forces Network), but this week for some reason they decided to televise the Oakland-Cleveland game in this time slot rather than Washington-Dallas. So I had to listen to the game through internet radio while I sipped my morning coffee. I was thrilled when we were up 21-0 at halftime. I hopped in the shower . . . and then when I got out of the shower I learned that it was actually 28-0 at halftime. Yikes.

On one hand it is awful getting up that early on a Monday morning, especially in weeks when the Redskins lose. On the other hand, I can cheer for my team without losing a whole day to football.

When I lived in the U.S., I used to be a beer guzzling couch potato on Sundays because of football . . . Now it's Monday instead of Sunday, and coffee instead of beer . . . .

Thanks to Redskins, I still have a voice today. They made sure to lay the smack down on the Pukes early, so, once the Cowpies quit, it didn't demand as much screaming from "The Redeemed One".

It was a great experience, the Skins did not let us down.

BTW - Was that Alex Smith at QB for the Cowboys last night?
