Also, 1 pass dropped, at least 4 were throw-aways. The interception looked bad, admittedly, but resulted from a missed blocking assignment and the WR hooking up instead of running an out. Bad play by Patrick but set up by two other bad plays. Also, Patrick has now shown big improvement each time out. This one was big time. I also have to admit Brunell looked teriffic against the 2nd string. I think we're set. My pessimistic is disappearing fast. As of right now, I think we're going to have a great year, maybe even contend.
I'm so happy I had the chance to watch the game (remembre I live in Panama).... Team looks great. OL played great; D was awesome; Portis looks stronger and faster; Moss made a couple of great catches; Both QB's can move the ball....
I did like the improvement I saw and that Ramsey never got sacked, neither did Brunell or Campbell. The running game looks alot better and Portis averaged 6 yards per carry.

Someone should make that their signature before he deletes it.

In the wins over the Philadelphia Eagles and the Miami Dolphins, the Steelers defense has six sacks, three interceptions, nine forced fumbles and seven recoveries, and two touchdowns.

2 things = our O line played well OR their D is not that good this year!
We are playing very well at this time in all aspects of the game. We are a better team! Maybe not the best but we are looking at the playoffs!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Our O line played extremely well. That is the exact same defense as last season. Same players, same scheme. They may not have had their best game, but our O had everything to do with that.

The o-line was just unreal last night. The Steelers are as tough a team as there is in football and we just went out there and bowled them over. I loved what I saw, that was some real smashmouth, ball-control football out there and when we weren't running the ball our QBs had loads of time to look down field and boy did Moss look exciting. If you can get a D biting on play-action with the speed we have at WR, there are going to be lots of big plays! Our o-line just took it to the Steelers all night.

Man, I'll tell you what. Seeing the o-line playing the way it did against Pittsburgh, just gave me goose bumps. Joe Gibbs is back, and the rest of the NFL better stand up and recognize!

I totally agree! Some of us have been counseling patience and letting these coaches (Joe B!) show you all what we expect to see from well coached players playing within the system!

Patrick just called me long distance. He's curled up with a good stat sheet...says he has a warm cozy feeling after having inserted his size twelves up a few crazy dog Steeler wyhoos. That Patrick. Such a kidder. He doesn't wear 12's. He wears 11's.
