Dammit guys, you're gonna get this moved to smack!
Why do you have to say "bang"? Can't you say:
"Why did

ey have to have a romantic interlude with her?"
"Why did

ey have to have intimate relations with her?"
lol

I agree with most everything you wrote except for the following: Joe would turn a blind eye to certain off the field items as long as they were the ultimate team players.
Spurrier turned a blind eye. Joe doesn't. It may not happen in full view of the public, but I wholeheartedly believe this man does more than just "turn a blind eye".
PS - Bobby Bethard lived in the same neighborhood as Riggo and attended the same neighborhood events so I'm sure the coaching staff knew full well about his exploits.
I'm not questioning Gibbs at all - I'm just throwing out there that there are certain realities in the NFL that he knows he has to deal with and others that aren't a big deal as long as they don't mess with practice and on the field performance.

I hear ya. After all, Gibbs himself said upon his return, "human nature is still human nature", even after more than a decade away from the game.
He's the master of getting the most out of his players, saints or not.
BTW - Is this stuff you share common knowledge, or do you have a special source within Redskins Park?

It's not common knowledge (well, some of Riggo's exploits are, lol) - someone I know very well lived in the neighborhood with Riggo and Bethard (they still talk to Bethard) so let's just say, while it's not a Redskins Park source, it's a very reliable one.

I have to use the term bang because that is exactly what

ey did!!! He didn't date her or nothing he just banged her on the side.......when the wife wasn't looking.
I think its bullcrud that she gets fired and

ey doesn't get anything.

ey was the one that opened his mouth and bragged to his friends about it........and he gets no punishment.
Gosh, I hate this guy.

Yeah, at first I had that "attaboy!" attitude, but now I feel really bad for that cheerleader, she lost her dreamjob and gets labled a slut and

ey acts unprofessionally, carries on an extramarital affair and gets branded a stud with no consequences.

Ah and that is the stigma that women live with sf55. It's long been that way. Take away the fact that they are semi-famous and the fact remains a woman that cheats is a slut and a man gets high fives from his friends for it. Not exactly fair.

If that what it takes to be a winner, like

ey, maybe we all should do it. Hey Moss, get your butt over to the pom poms.

I still say this would've never happened if they hadn't legalized gay marriage in Canada. The institution of marriage is being destroyed.
Real Cooley scandal

This is the real

ey Scandal...from a reliable source...
One of the other cheerleaders "name not given" could have possibly been involved with cooley. I dont know for a fact so I am not gonna say its true. Not fair to her or cooley. One night that cheerleader called kristy and invited her to a party. Kristy did not know that cooley would be there untill she arived. On that note the cheerleaders arnt allowed to have any interaction with players weather its a picture or hanging out ect. Well that night she got a picture with him. That was the first time they have hung out. Nothin happened physicly or anything. Well that picture later got turned into the cheerleading coach and since she was "interacting" even though it was just a picture she is gone also.

What?!?!!??!?!
She's gone because of a picture?!?!?!? Just one simple picture?!?!?
Sorry, but I can't believe that. There has to be more to it then just one picture.

Well sorry to say it is true. All cheerleading contracts state that your not allowed to have any relations wiuth NFL players other then designated by team functions. One thing though. I wish the G-MEN for once can get some damn cheerleaders same as the Steelers. lol.

I've heard the same thing. Any interaction outside of "official" functions is breach of contract regarding their hire.
It's basically to maintain the integrity of the cheerleading staff. They didn't want it filled with a bunch of "hoochies" only looking to snag a ring from a player.

skins#1fan, I merged your thread with the 7 pager.
You started a topic on the same thing that this thread was discussing.

Dang.......That really sucks!
Oh well.....Hopefully

ey will keep himself and his camera away from my next favorite cheerleader

Ok well it's not because I'm female that I believe this but isn't that policy demeaning. If you are worried about that then you better restrict every vendor, every fan, and each and every person who has contact with the team from making passes at them. Cheerleaders should be treated like part of the 'team' and given a little more equality and respect then what I see going down here. That poor girl.

I think Niki, the policy is there so they don't become a distraction to the players... imagine the soap opera the media would spin between a player and a cheerleader, or two cheerleaders jealous, & cat fighting over one player... or becoming a distraction during the game... etc...
The policy can't be placed on the players, which it's probably meant more for, because they can't very well be cutting players w/ their million dollar salaries.... so the policy is on the cheerleader.... black & white, loud & clear...

Ok well what if they as an equality measure fine the players for fraternization with the cheerleaders? Then it's something to detract both parties from such behavior. Because honestly if you're a player and have the opportunity to sleep with a cheerleader you are not going to go wait, don't you need that $30 bucks a game??

how do we know they don't fine them? I'm sure guys are fined all over the league for things... I don't think the media is going to expose every little fine... especially for players who don't have big names or aren't major role players....

Ok that sounds fair. But seriously this poor girl needs her job back. They need to realize she isn't the one who deserved to be canned here.
