its just frustrating, because you watch teams like the patriots and giants that have a clue, and then we have no idea whats going on.

We got #158 and #221. Basically switched 5th round spots and picked up a 7th

Looks like we got their 5th and a 7th, is that good value for moving up that many spots?

Tell that to them. His rating was already good, than he crushed at the combine.

Skins Trade 5th Round Pick to Vikings

The Skins traded back to 158 from 150, getting Minnesota's 5th round pick. The Skins also get pick No. 221 in the seventh round, which was originally theirs (it went to the Vikings as compensation for the Erasmus James trade from last year).

The 7th Rd pick - per Wash. Post is the pick we gave them last year for Erasmus James.

Are you saying that it is rediculous that vinnie would do something dumb? or do other teams laugh at our team because vinnie is so dumb and consistently does dumb things.

Vinny is awful at running a team. There is no reason to believe that what he is doing right now will work out because he consistently does poorly.

That is why there is negativity. If you look at the Patriots picks. People are like oh okay well this might be a reach but they probally know what they are doing because of their sucessful history.

However we have awful history since Vinnie and dan have been with the redskins.

As a Redskins fan I totally resent that. The Redskins finally got a general manager after years of clamoring for one. They went out and signed a coach who was not a celebrity big name. (An up and comer if you will.) They worked the draft last season and got the guy they wanted all along and two other highly rated pass catchers. Later on in the draft they picked up some good special teams players and Chris Horton who was one of the better defensive rookies last season. This year they avoided trading up for Sanchez and the got Brian Orakpo the guy they wanted all along because they made a lot of calls and found he was going to fall anyway.

Then they drafted one of the best corners left on their board when we needed depth badly (especially a nickleback) AND Meredith may fall to us at 22 and if he doesn't someone on our board rated similarly will be there.

I wonder how much Vinny actually is involved with all this. I think he is more of an advisor' to our Owner. But the owner pulls the strings.

My bad, I read the DraftCast incorrectly.

Why are you even a Redskins fan? Vinny Cerrato is a veteran personnel man in the NFL with a super bowl ring. He was responsible for many good picks and trades in his career but people blame the Redskins woes on him. Look at what he's done in his year as GM. He's been great. Actually look at his record before you post this nonsense.

The Giants seem to be taking QB's a lot, Woodson last year (who I liked a lot) and now Bomar.

It would be a miracle if Meredith was there at 158, he's spent the last 12 picks as the number two availible on Kiper's board and the last three as the #1 availible; he could be a great backup LT and G
