Accept it everybody -- this is who they are.

And this is who they've been ever since 2000.

And nothing will change until there's a change at the VERY top.

Sadly, that ain't happening for a while.

So hunker down Hogs, we're stuck with this for a long time to come.

Nothing, it's time to get him ready for next season!

I'm sure after a rough first few games, he can get a whole 194 yards & maybe even a TD!

Basically a lot of blame can be placed on a lot of heads today. For all the good plays the D made, they gave up 184 to LT. We got good pressure on Brees early tnen got anway from it and he had time to connect. Rabach's flag killed a potential game winning FG. Offensive play calling with too many 3 & outs was just that, offensive. Run blocking by the O line was mediocre. R. Royal and his many drops were pitiful. Deactivate him., his drops killed drives. And on and on. Lots of blame to pass around.

Royal had a season's worth in just this one game.

Can't accept failure, or there is no reason to play/root for your team

May have been that way in 2000 but back then you saw the players with their heads down or pointing fingers

The very top won't be changing at the very top anytime soon but as long as he stays hands off during the rough times we should be okay

Most people have said what I wanted to say above.

Rabach, Royal, Harris and the arthritic Frost-y

What a TERRIBLE choice of plays. Wat a MISERABLE way to lose.

This is IT guys. There is a LIMITED number of times that a team can stab itself before it throws the season AWAY.

We are out of the playoffs guys. Sorry to say.

THIS WEEK IS GOING TO BE THE MOST MISERABLE IN A WHILE WITH ALL THINGS COMPOUNDED.

Oh yeah, forgot to include W Harris and his soft cushion DB play, and Frost's booming 30 - 35 yd punts. Like I said, plenty of blame to pass around. I hate having to go back to work tomorrow feeling like this.

S'Hawks up 7 - 0 on NYG. But, it still doesn't make me feel any better.

This just pisses me off because we would have been 1 game out of 1st with games against the leaders...now we have 2 games to make up with only 5 games left...odds not in our favor and with the way our offense is calling plays in the 4th quarter we can't expect a 5 game win streak.

Five game win streak??? This team will be lucky to win two more games this year. WTF, is going on with the play calling?????????

Off topic, at least we haven't had 5 false start penalties on one series trying to punt like the Jints just did. Still doesn't make me feel better.

Off topic? How is anything I said off topic? It directly correlates to the dabacle of this afternoon. Somebody says he doesn't see this team pulling off a five game win streak. I don't see it either. We will be lucky to win 2 more games this year. It's the same old thing year after year. They reel you in only to rip your heart out.

I think he was talking about his own post skinsfaninNJ. We lost yes but you people really need to pull yourselves together. Anyone see how very tired our defense was today? They were drained. I said that before OT even started. Bottom line is Kasey Rabach got called for a penalty he should have never let happen. THAT is what cost us this game in the end. It was a mistake and it was actually not completely his fault. He barely touched the guy and fell in a bad spot. However, games over. You people need to stop attacking every and any thing after a lose. If you don't want to be a fan, no one is forcing you to be here. The more close games we have, the less time I want to spend here because of people who act like little whiney babies.

Whiney babies??? Niki it's time to take off your Redskin blinders and call it like it is. This team simply can't finish. They were up by 10 in the 4th quarter and couldn't finish it. Being a fan in more than Rah, Rah, Redskins week after week. It's being able to objectively evaluate your team. If you wish to call me whiney that's fine. However, you should step back and take a look at this team (without blinders) before you criticize others.

This team???? I think it's people like you that fail to take a look at this team! Did you see Carlos Rogers out there?? Our Rookie showing he can hang with people way senior to him. That is a positive. Did you see our offense move the ball against what was called (not sure if it is or not) the number 1 defense in the league. I see positive. I saw negative too. We had stupid penalties. Lavar had his hands on a ball he should have come down with. BUT I see a team a world better then last year. We are in each and every game we play. And I am happy to see improvement.

We blew the lead, no question about it. But I saw good things. Things that we are figuring out that will take us into next year preparing to win. We need a punter! Give us a punter, give us the Tom Tupa of last year and this game is a whole different game.

You can bitch and moan but what good is it doing really?

San Diego is nowhere near number 1 in defense...I am frustrated because we seem to find a DIFFERENT way to blow a 4th quarter lead.

First it was the defensive breakdowns against Tampa, and the last two weeks the offensive playcalling has been futile. We have played the game in fear of losing instead of trying to win the game. I appreciate the year to year improvement, but I want the team to take the next step and improve game to game.

We have to finish games like these and not give away important victories.

Yes this team. The same team that FOUND a way to lose to Tampa after leading and the same team the FOUND a way to lose to the Raiders at home after leading 13-3 at half.

I will agree with you on Carlos Rogers being a bright spot for this team. You can call for Tom Tupa and yes he would be leaps and bounds better than Frost but we have to work with what we have and as of now Frost is our guy.

You can blame it on penalties and Lavar dropping an interception but in reality it comes down to killer instict. This team had a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter and immediately became the vanilla offense we have come to know and love.

My bitching obviously is doing no good for the team. However, neiher is Gibbs coming out week after week and saying "the guys played hard". Yes they did play hard but it wasn't good enough. Who do you place the blame with, the coaches or the players? To me it's clearly te play calling. Seriously how many times do you watch Robert Royal drop a pass before you stop throwing to him???

I apologize for the off topic post earlier. I assmumed you were referring to me. I should have read the post more carefully. But I assure you I have not been drinking and if I were it would certainly not be an Amber Bock. :)

Really, folks. We need to develop a killer instinct. We just don't have one right now. We dig the hole, and then we throw down a rope ladder when they fall in.
That's no way to bury somebody.

I agree with Ant7088. Last week was our wake up call to start looking for the future. We are a week late already in having Cambell getting playing time for next year. Have you seen the Bears QB lately, he is no dan marino, but he sure is A LOT better than the guy we faced on week 1.

Well, maybe...but the rest of the team improved, too. It's not like he faces our defense (what it was, not what it is) every week. I'll give him props for getting past Tampa Bay, though. That's saying something. Not everybody does it.
It's hard to draw a parallel between he and Campbell, though.
Not all rookies are created equally.
