We got that win and a NFC East Crown. I said the rest was gravy and I still believe that. I would love to win today but it has still been a great year if we do not. That plus.....
Offenses today are equal in my mind with the late run by Seattle.
The defenses is where the separation is, even though we have played better as of late, Seattle still has a much better defense. That will be the difference today I believe, adding in the fact that RG3 is not 100% and rookies usually do not play that well in their first playoff games. We depend on 2 rookies on offense.
Said this before the game, I just hope RG3 doesn't need total reconstruction.

Two bad snaps at critical times are too many. Montgomery screwed up big time.

Griffin will be fine in a month.

In that shot of Griff putting his arm over Shanahan's shoulder, he is clearly saying "not on you, Coach"... No, Bob. He needed to pull you... and he didn't. That would have given Cousins a chance to work without pressure. And you might be available in a couple of weeks... That was on Coach... sorry.

Would have been better to lose last week to Dallas and start looking for new coaches last week than to choke up a barfball like this in the playoffs. 21 years without winning a meaningful game. How ridiculously pathetic can a franchise get?!?!?!??!

OK. Should have started Cousins in the second half...maybe even the second quarter, after Robert Griffin went off and they extended his knee brace.
So be it.
Griffin will have six months to rehab the knee.
Allen and Shanahan will draft some defense.
Orakpo will return.
Only going to get better.

Hold your heads high, guys.
We had a great run. We knew this was not our season.
Who knows, maybe this is the best outcome to have RG healthy and not permanently lost

Well done for a great season, got to taste some postseason action and I wasn't expecting that this year.
Lots to be proud of. We can stuff these jokers in next years playoffs. Roll on next season, we're gonna be a legitimate force.

Nice run guys. 10-6 and NFCE Champs in a season with $18M of our salary cap stolen and a decimated secondary? I'll take it. Next season.

Now we get another week of SEA being hailed the best team in to take the field since the days of leather helmets.....

Absolutely, RiC! For a team with "so many holes" at the beginning of the season. They played hard this year and won the division. Nothing to hang our heads about.

Richard Sherman should be kneecapped.

All true... but... everyone in America knew that Griffin was in trouble after the first half. With a weapon in reserve like Cousins, you have to make a switch at some point in the 3rd quarter. I just don't get it. Griffin was obviously very impaired. Why do you continue to risk him? He was not capable of planting for passes... he was not capable of planting to cut. What was he thinking????
Go Falcons.

Griffin seems to be walking normally. Who knows...maybe just plain rest for a few weeks?
