Once again our D holds up their end of the bargain. If the O could only score we could be a contender again.

I keep wondering why after winning the coin toss, we elected to receive the ball first. Why not have our D start the game and get the ball first in the 2nd half? The likelyhood of us going 3 and out with the ball first is pretty high and that would give them great field position to start the game after the punt. If this is going to be a game of field position, why wouldn't we give them the ball first.
Just curious how others see this.

I would always take the ball in the 2nd half at an away game.chiefhog44 wrote:I keep wondering why after winning the coin toss, we elected to receive the ball first. I am ALWAYS a fan of getting the ball in the 2nd half. I wish we would always kick off to start the game.

Makes me think Zorn is just so overconfident in his offense

must not have felt has confident at the end of the half me thinks.
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

May have been one of those where the Raisins won the toss and deferred to the 2nd half.

So what will our half-time adjustments be?

We went to the playoffs last year and have veteren players. The Ravens have rookie coach and QB as do the Falcons. I don't get why they are so much better. I mean I am happy for the Atlanta fans (all 3 of them) in the wake of the Vick nonsense but they are good with a no name coach and rookie QB. Here we have a rookie coach who has been aroubd the game forever and not in his early 40's yet he seems like a loon. Maube we just got old fast.

Take veteran and replace it with old folks home residence and you have your answer
