How so? Was he supposed to keep Stalworth upright?

I don't know. I watched NC State get lit up by FSU yesterday. Both my teams getting their asses whooped this weekend. But I carved a pumpkin so I guess I'm a winner right???

CanesSkins26 wrote:I know the receiver fell down, but why is Beck throwing the ball to a covered receiver in double coverage?
Because he's not an NFL quarterback.

You saw that Stallworth fell down on the play right? Ball would've been there for him to jump up and make a play.
Beck was throwing that ball into double coverage.. poor decision to throw that ball whether the receiver trips or doesnt..

Yeah... you haven't seen that many games.
BTW, Stallworth had inside position until he fell... that was a good decision.

At best that ball gets knocked down by a defender if Stallworth doesn't fall down. Double coverage to a short receiver who wasn't remotely open.

I have no problem with him being aggressive when we've done nothing at this point aggressive.

3 straight losses. Each one worse than another. Shanny has to prove he can coach, because he's losing this season before the halfway point.

Maybe if the safety hadn't been there. That was a fail from the get-go.

Andrew Carnegie put it best when he said there are two types of men destined for failure: the one who will not do what he is told, and the one who can only do what he's told.
Unfortunately for us, the Skins have both of them on the roster at QB. Ugh!

Here the players we must replace to be a good team:
Defense:
1) Hall
2) Wilson (will be fine nickel back)
3) macintosh
4) carriker
5) Fletcher
Offense:
1) beck
2) all OL but Brown and Williams
3) Armstong, stalworth and gaffney
Some of these guys can be backups but not starters.

It should sound like Jim Mora's Saints rant. "We couldn’t do diddly poo offensively. We couldn’t make a first down, we couldn’t run the ball, we didn’t try to run the ball, we couldn’t complete a pass – we sucked!"

Anything positive out of this debacle?
besides "there is always next year"

You can understand this in year one for a coaching staff. Not year two. Just plain wrong.

I hope to god NO. We need to make up some ground for the #1 pick. That is a good place to start
