Even though this is pre-season, it's on par with the NE game last year. No way in hell they needed to see their starters in the 3rd quarter.

Like VetSkins says, probably need to wait on the MRI.

I havn't seen the game even, but i swear to the cruel deity that is god, JT is gone for the season. Id bet my mortgage on it.

Initial prognosis is a sprained knee and he walked off the field on his own power. I feel kinda good about the severity of it.

Dude, i hope you are right, but every single torn acl, mcl, pcl, and any other freaking CL that can be torn is initially diagnosed as a "sprain".

Agreed. I tore my left ACL, MCL and a bunch of other things in high school. I not only walked off the field, but I walked across the school, stood around a while, drove my girlfriend home and then drove myself home (in my stick shift). The next day I couldn't walk at all, though...

Same thing happened when I sprained my ankle. I worked the rest (4 hours) of my shift. Positive karma.

I don't know quite how to say this, but to some degree, I actually think a good butt whipping like this in preseason can be a good thing, in that it can give the coaches plenty to work on and should motivate the players.

Yeah I'm leaning towards that conclusion aswell, afterall, the king of horrible knee injuries, Joe Theisman, even said that JT's injury looked bad...

Not a good sign.

I dont need Theisman to tell me its bad, all i need to know is 2 things...

A. There was a game of organized football to be played

and

B. One team was wearing Washington redskins uniforms.

I can fill in the all the ungodly injuries, missed opportunities, heartlessness, murders, fluke plays, bad calls, bad decisions, and unlucky breaks /near mathematical impossibilities from there.

I can attribute some of this to playcalling. There's been way too many draws plays while behind for my liking.

That's sort of been our go-to play this preseason. Hopefully we have something better on tap for the regular season!

It's been one of the only plays that got us some rushing yardage. Just didn't get us any first downs because we had so far to go.

There's this ideology called adjustments that hasn't happened this game. That's on the coaches.

I think Zorn knows no one has a book on him yet, and he's saving it for the regular season. Think about it, we haven't even seen much of Cooley and Sellers yet.

This is an embarrassment. Noone wants to go out like we have tonite. We've not executed a damned thing offensively or defensively tonite and that's not what coaches want to see in the 4th pre-season game.

John Fox is pissing me off tonight. He is challenging a 1st down call in the 4th quarter of a blow-out preseason game. He has already gone for it on 4th down and I just really don't like him that much to begin with.....I am really bitter right now!
