The Steelers are a defensive team... they are not going to sit still and wait for us to adjust.

The second half will be much like the first.

4 points down at home, and Pitt. hasn't scored a legitimate point. TD after a blocked punt and FG after a long penalty.

In a game like this, there are a limited number of opportunities... you can't waste them. They were looking for a score. I don't have any problem with that.

Probably playing the best defense since opening night, too.

But they turned the ball over and it cost them points and Campbell broke his leg ... oh wait, that didn't happen

I hope Zorn gets the smelling salts to give to the O in the lockeroom.

No different than a field goal after a pick.

Nothing to revive. The offense has been mostly dinking and dunking the whole year.

Absolutely, but my point was that the Steelers are actually playing worse than the 'Skins on O, so there will be more three and outs coming and more opportunities. The 'Skins O just has to not panic and put plays together. One good drive regains the lead.

2 mistakes led to the Steelers points. The PI call (legit) and the blocked punt (couldn;t tell who missed thier blocking assignment). but hey, we've got them tight where we want them. We are trailing in the 2nd half.

D is playing great. O needs to get their act together. Need to crank up the running game because Rock ain't rock solid on the pass pro.

Agreed. Each team got one big turnaround play. Pitt turned theirs into seven vs. the Redskins getting three.

This game will be won by the lines.

The Steelers have the #1 defense in the league, so I'm not sure how many big chances you take on offense. But Zorn's play calling is becoming a bit predictable. Pass on 1st and run on 2nd. I think the Steelers have picked up on that.

Damn, I know it's not easy calling plays in this league, but change it up, try some misdirection, get Cooley and Thomas involved. When you only go to Portis and Moss all the time, defenses will eat you up.

I hope Zorn opens it up a bit here in the 2nd half.

I am actually proud of the pass rush and the coverage on D. I think our 3 sacks are coming from the great 2ndary coverage. Except for the dropped pick 6 and the PI call, the 2ndary looks real good against ward, holmes, and co.

Pretty sure they gave those questions to the candidates ahead of time, they both had answers all-too prepared.

The PI was an interesting scenario. The receiver had to come back towards Rogers to try to catch the ball. He sort of tackled himself on Rogers. Not sure what Carlos could've done differently there.
