I'm afraid the D may be a tad weaker than last year...I was really bothered by the lack of rush against both the Bears and the Pukes. We're going to need more than the 0 to 14 point I think Brunell might be capable of getting us each week, especially since I'm convinced he can't play four quarters without costing us 3 points or more with interceptions or bonehead plays. What really bothers me though is that I'm convinced his presence on the field will allow defenses to cheat up and close off our running game, possibily killing Portis. Those miracle passes will never happen again. I think we're a team on its way down...fast. After this season, we're going to have more players than just Ramsey wanting to jump ship. I think Portis will ask for a trade, if living.

you are describing my nightmare in perfect detail!

Ah, do you two mean that it's better to have lost?

Have either of you done close-quarters verbal combat with True Believing Leninists, who believe that it would be really fine to have a depression because that would wake the working class out of its "false consciousness" and lead to The Revolution?

Ouch!

I usually like your posts and you don't strike me as the judgmental type. I am soooo glad we have you and JPFair to tell us who is and who is not a "true Redskin fan" on this site.

Actually, it's not so much that we can tell you "who is a true Redskins fan", but we can certainly tell who isn't. And, well, just read DEHog's post!! That post, where he rebutted your post, is the debating equivalent of a knockout punch. A virtual upper cut to the jaw that knocked your arguement out for the count. It was such a stunning blow that you were unable to come out for the bell to open the next round. I'm afraid you're going to have to come to terms with the fact that, at least with your current argument, you've been pummeled mercilessly until the final knockout punch that left you a mere shell of the debater that you were.

I think, like many heavyweights do after a devastating knockout of epic proportions similar to the one you just suffered, you should announce your retirement from being a fan of the Redskins. Oh, wait a minute, you effectively already have!!

You have about as much insight as my turd I just flushed. At least DEHog came with ammo. You're like a little "yes man" in the background.

And there you go again, telling me I'm not a fan. I think less of your opinion of me than I do redeemed's.

And btw, I'm not trying to argue any points as much as just explain myself. Take your great debating skills  into court and see how well you do. I can see it now..."yea. what he said."

Never has a Redskins win brought so much dissent among fans, it would seem.

I tried to drop this so that we could just enjoy the win, but some people don't know how to. They just ride on the coattails of others arguements.

Allright dude, don't get your panties in a bunch. I can understand you being so upset, having just been utterly humiliated in your debate, but there's no reason to sway from football talk to personal attacks, which I don't have to remind you, are prohibited in every forum except Smack.

And there you go again, telling me I'm not a fan.

Really? I said you, personally, are not a fan? Show me where? Although, I do have serious questions about your ability to be a fan when you make some of the comments you do. Having said that, I think some of your football knowledge went down the toilet with that turd you just flushed.

And btw, I'm not trying to argue any points as much as just explain myself.

Good, cuz you're not doing a very good job of either. In fact, the only reason you're in the predicament you are of having to "explain" yourself instead of debating the topic that was being discussed, is because your "explanation" of yourself was so utterly destroyed by DEHogs post, that you're like a defeated heavyweight trying to explain why he just got the snot knocked out of him. Keep explaining yourself, you need to.

Take your great debating skills into court and see how well you do.

Hey, how'd you know what I have to do on Monday? Thanks for reminding me though. But, I'm quite sure I'll do as good as I always do.

As far as YOUR debating skills, and I use the term skills loosely, maybe you should stick to explaining yourself, even if it is the lesser of two evils.

Now, get back on football and stop using this as a means for personal attacks.

I'm not trying to judge you I'm just saying that what was said was said DURING the game which could've/should've counted for something. Saying that was part of the reason for the comment would have surficed - but you tried to defend statements that you made during the heat of a Game (against that team in Texas of all teams) that you didn't mean.

This is the first gameday thread that I've seen last a whole week. Not the tone I'd expect after a win.

Being glad you have someone to tell you if you are a true Redskin fan or not should tell you something. My opinion of you really shouldn't matter considering I don't know you. My point was I know how you post and your Gamsday post were out of the norm, and you never pointed that out in your defense.

If Gibbs was fired Monday you'd be raising H E diuble hockey sticks right along with the rest of us.

BTW I didn't and haven't group ed you with any other poster on this site... So why group me with JPF?

Its funny how people say extreme stuff and then throw a fit when someone calls them out on it.

I was shocked to see a few of the things said in this thread, I haven't been in here since Wed. or so.

Im nobody to care about but some of you really lost some of my respect.
