nice win defense and special teams. Hopefully the offense will join you sometime this season. well, the QB position anyway. Don't wanna sound like anybody else on offense, especially CP was included in that.
58 yards passing. Not sure I've ever seen that by any team ever before....
what a vet!!!!!

Well done Skins (except Brunell). Nice chatting with all of you today. Good win for us all.

Nothing has changed we still have NO passing offense.
At least I got to add a win to my signature.

Portis had more passing yards in the second half then Brunell...
I'll leave it at that

Anyone know CPR ??????
Or have a nitro tablet???
I can't handle this.
Pathetic Brunell ....... Einstein H.S. has a better passing attact than us.
Does Einstein H.S. still suck??? It has been a while since I lived down there.

6-17 for 58 yards. 1 TD called back.
But only 17 pass attempts. 58 yards is low, but 17 attempts?
It says, in Gibbs-speak, that he doesn't think much of the passing.

Why on earth would he???
Any team a bit betterthan Detroit will still beat us. It is a step in the right direction, a small step and yes in the right direction.
Portis can not do it alone.
It was a pleasure fellow fans. See you soon. It's all over from me today. Enjoy the victory.

Wow.
I'm putting my leg up. Didn't stomp the floor. Won't need the triple pain-killer. But wow...
This shouldn't. The defense ahould draw double pay.
I can't remember when a Gibbs team threw so few passes, unless it was some game in a driving rain storm, when Riggins or Byner ran the opponent into the mud. Which isn't the case here.

ah, i'm so glad to see that we're all on board with this- i was dreading getting to the message boards amd seeing a lot of excited fans. it seems that it's obvious to us that though it's always nice to watch a victory, this one meant nothing. in fact, i think it was probably hurtful to our future- gibbs seems to think eeking out a win against a mediocre team is proof that it's ok to leave brunell in, even though he is clearly the worst quarterback on the planet earth (i think this was clearly his most abhorrent game yet, no?).
i actually kinda wish we had lost- maybe then gibbs would realize that superb special teams and an awe-inspiring defense, and even a great running game (gibbs is finally adapting his plays to work for portis's style) aren't good enough. heck, we almost lost to the lions, imagine when we play the eagles (twice!) later on. you've got to be able to pass!
speaking of portis, imagine how devastating he could be if we actually had a passing game, forcing the opposing defense to put less than 87,000 people up "in the box" to stop the run. it makes me drool to consider.
ram-sey, ram-sey, ram-sey...
heck, i'd even take portis at QB after today!

Brunell gave us the best chance to win today...
He came out in the second half and put the ball in (thankfully he handed to them) someone else hand every chance he got
