Bad offensive series.
Still another 3 points.

I hope that one of the coaches rips Landry a new one during the half. He has to stop this crap.

16-3 instead of 16-0. Thanks Laron. Watch us lose 20-19

Because he's a stupid punk. The late hits are one thing, taunting is something else entirely. He just cost us three points.

Sean Taylor used to do the same things as a rookie. Landry will learn.

Yea but Sean Taylor also made a lot more plays are a rookie than Landry has so far so it was a little easier to take. Taylor's were mostly late hits. That last play by Landry was one of the dumbest penalties I've seen in a long time. The receiver is on the ground so Landry bends down and waves his hand in his face. Idiotic.

Taylor played his entire rookie season at free safety. You do recall the reason Landry is playing free safety instead of strong safety? Yes, the taunting was an idiotic thing to do. But let's give Landry more than a couple of games at free safety. He has huge size 21 shoes to fill.

My 2 cents

The Saints really scare me. If we win out and miss the playoffs because of those guys, I think I might cry.

No he doesn't. All he needs to do is keep playing hard (he has been playing well) and stop committing stupid penalties.

Taylor made a much greater impact as a rookie than Landry has so far. Landry, no doubt, is very talented and will be a very good player for us, but there is absolutely no excuse for the type of stupidity that he displayed on that play. It's not the first time this season that he has cost us points by extending drives with stupid penalties.

People are seriously over reacting to this. Get over it... Taylor grew up (more than his share of stupid penalties, including spitting in a players face and a game ejection... ).

This kid will, too.

He's playing the position fine, it's the mental mistakes that are showing up in the passing game.

Down in the box, he's fine. So I can only guess he'll be fine in time.

Sean didn't have a size 21 shoe

1: This has nothing to do with Sean Taylor. They're different players, different people. For every Sean Taylor who grows up there is a Mark Carrier who eventually gets black-balled for his reputation as a dirty player.

2: It IS a big deal. This isn't a one time thing - he's hurting the team by pulling stunts like this, and if he keeps it up, he's going to get suspended or ejected and really put us in a bad spot. I'll get over it when he "grows up" like you promise he will.

And he has had far fewer such outbursts than Tayor did in the equivalent point of his career. He will be fine. Lighten up.

Nice job by Collins on that play. Stepped up in the pocket and delivered a perfect pass.

Taylor also scored a td in that game. If Landry scores a td in this game I'll get over it.
