I will cheer for that Nats on that day and contrary to some people's beliefs I'm not a Nats fan!

Whenever I start to get blue, I just breathe!
My favortie line from the Simpsons:
Flanders: "Looks like someone is having a pre-rapture party!"
Homer: "No Flanders, it's a meeting of gay witches for abortion , you wouldn't be interested!"

You'll secretly be cheering for them once you realize the O's are going to implode again.
Don't be jealous that we actually have a nice new stadium, you'll get your eventually.

Nope not at all. I'm just saying it's someone else's home they are 'borrowing'. Not their baseball stadium.

Too bad your owner and team don't treat your pretty stadium that way it should be and actually try fielding a winner, lol.
At least we have an excuse, you guys don't!

We don't need an excuse. We're going to win every game against the Nats this year. Want to make a friendly wager to that effect?
Oh and don't be jealous. You have Sosa, but you cannot have Javy!

Javy, who wants to rework his contract and then they want to move him to 1st base? I'll bet you a friendly wager that between him and Tejada, your team will implode. Tejada's still upset and the team brought in a new catcher to take Javy's place for the majority of games behind the plate.
...and, are you putting a wager that the O's will sweep every game from the Nats? LOL - I'll take that any day of the week. What you're saying is that all's the Nats have to do is win one game against the O's for me to win this bet. So, you're on...
(and for the record, I think it will be a pretty even series, with the Nats having a one game advantage)

Javy was hurt and he actually wanted some relief from catching every game. Pay attention would you. I have to watch the Nationals News why don't you watch the O's news.
No way it's going to be an even series of games between us. O's take it and you can tell me what you'd like to bet.

I told you - I'll take the bet... btw, read the news yourself, there are two series againt the O's, one at home and one in Terd-more = 6 games. Are you telling me the O's are going to sweep both? There's an exhibtition game prior to the season as well. So are you telling me that you really think the O's will take all 6 games? You don't know much about baseball, do ya?

Unfortunately, I'm forced to watch Balto-stink's news b/c the Post and Comcast still carry them. I know Javy was hurt and he wants SOME relief but they're talking about giving the new guy MOST games behind home plate, moving Javy to first AND wanting to restructure his deal. Tejada's already pissed, how long before Javy follows?
The one thing the O's do have going for them is their new manager and pitching coach. Now if they can sell the team to someone who cares, they might just end up in better than 4th place in their division.

Javy already has followed, he asked to be traded too...
Also, sources say Tejada is STILL mad and will probably have to be traded by the deadline unless the Orioles are doing well (they won't be, they'll be eating the Jays dust and in 4th place.)
Oh, and Baltimore has a NEW stadium? It was built in 1992 and I don't think anything around 15 years old can really qualify as "new" anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I love the return of retro parks, but when Washington DC builds one for the Nationals it's probably going to make Camden Yards look like a college diamond.

Well if I'm not mistaken Lavar was a little ticked at the begining of this season and soon fell into line. Same will happen with Tejada and Javy.
I'm seriously just pulling your leg. I do have blind faith in my team and will make the bet. I'm guessing that the O's come out on the top of the two series. I'm not a fan of the owner but I still have love for my team.
Oh and I don't know much about baseball but you want to build the team around the manager and pitching coach, sounds silly.

Unlike football coaching and managing has precious little to do with a baseball player's performance.
You should never build around the manager or pitching coach excepting that you build a team around one philosophy and don't just go get a hodgepodge of players.
Also, you might want to rely on their scouting advice, but more often than not, a manager is just a cheerleader.

The Lavar issue isn't resolved...yet. He might be out of here.
So are you betting that the O's will come out on top, meaning they'll take both series' or are you betting that they'll win all games?
If they wanted to build something around a manager, they should have stuck with Davey Johnson.
Like I said before, the O's don't have an excuse to suck so bad. They have an owner - they had a proud tradition and following and they used to be a destination for free agents. The Nats should suck, are treated like a red headed step child but still found a way to scrap out a .500 season. It's truly a shame that a once-proud franchise is in the state that the O's are in...
The O's aren't building anything - they're just floundering until Angelos finally decides to sell the team. Now that he see's how much the Nats sell for (when it's all said and done, probably $500 mil), I bet that he'll sell within 4 years.
Anyways, I'll take either bet. The O's won't take both series. My bet is they'll split in each other's respective homes.

The Nats offer to Sosa was a non-gauranteed half a million a year and no more but he would of been content with atleast 1 million. It's amazing how much his stock has fallen, I would of thought he would of still been worth the gamble for a million but I guess not. WOW! he went from top of the world to the basement in just a couple of years.
