Randy Thomas says he is going out to eat to celebrate the 1st teams TD. He says bring on the Dolphins. He is not panicking. Felt good with Pete Kendall.

Sonny & Sam concerned that CP hasn't played at all, and LB hasn't played very much.

Also still concerned on D not getting any turnovers.

Does anyone else feel like we won this game going away?

I do. We put a player in the game who has never played a down of pro football and also never played under center....come on. The 2nd half shouldn't count. Not to mention they threw at Jimoh the whole half and thats really where the bigger plays came from.

Thought to rest on, the first team D never played at all tonight, except for Goldston in spots. Scary thought - We're in bad shape if we can;t keep the first team D healthy to make it through the season, and we have to reply on some of those other players (imposters) that were on the field tonight. Of course most of them probably won't be around much longer.

Irn-Bru wrote:Brunell hasn't looked terrible; he's actually done a pretty good job. Crisp passes with one bad throw, but he followed it up with a nice TD pass that was all touch.

You all owe Brunell an apology. [-X

AM bump for the haters.

Classy, as always.

Just seeing Jason Campbell put together a drive and ending it with a touchdown to ARE was a win in my book. Especially being that it was Antwan Randle El who has not done much thus far. I am excited to see what is going to transpire this season.

I am now thinking J.C. can put together a 30 passing td season. Maybe a little optimistic but J.C. looked very sharp.

Not since the anti-Lavar comments from yours truly has there been such disdain for one player.

Of course, yours is unwarranted.

I was only able to catch a few minutes of the game last night.

For those that caught the game, I'd be interested to know your opinions on which players were impressive and which players didn't make a case for themselves.

:feedback;

I'm just going to quote this because I've bashed Brunell in the past, and I just want to be fair to the guy. At this point in his career, age and injuries have taken their toll, and he's essentially a back-up, but he is a classy guy, and I've never doubted his effort (though I've doubted his abilities) during his tenure on this team. From what I've heard, he's helped JC along, and he's tried to help this team in other ways, like restructuring his contract, so I've let go much of the anger I had toward him. Besides, it's not his fault we overpayed for him (blame the FO) or that we stuck with him too long (that blame falls on Gibbs, but most fans can't bring themselves to do that) - he did his best, and that's all we can ask of any player. Good luck and best wishes to Mark in all his future endevours. =D>

In my opinion, the players whose stock went up:
Mason
Trucks
Hoag
Stoutmire

Players whose stock dropped:
Westbrook
Eubanks
Jimoh
Bell
Brown

Players I'm not sure about (how I'm leaning in parentheses):
Doughty (+)
Sinclair (+)
Boschetti (-)
Bradford (-)

Just my My 2 cents

Doughty doesn't seem like he's that good to me. He seems slow and doesn't have any power in his tackling. Maybe Taylor and Landry have spoiled us.

Indeed - that's a tough act to follow! I'd guess Doughty is definitely on the bubble.
