Wow, our defensive line really looked gassed right there.

The defense caused that on their own. The penalties hurt them bad.

The offense needs to do something here because the D looks tired. We can't afford a 3 and out here.

That's why I resist laying all the blame on the offence. You can say that the defence is tired, but the penalties that extended that drive weren't due to tiredness.

Sounds to me that they covered for about 6 seconds. You can't ask for more than that, and still claim to be reasonable.

For THAT drive, the issue was on the defense. But for the game OVERALL, the offense is a lame duck.
