Thomas was half-blocked, and reached out his arm to tackle Portis, who was running hard. Portis went through...the play looked a bit like Thomas had reached an arm out to stop an Acela Express. The replay showed Thomas holding his wrist. No helmet that I could see.

When he reached out to grab portis, his arm was hit in the elbow area by a teammate's helmet. Just saw the replay today on ESPN.
