The most important thing to me is that Ramsey looked very composed. He we was rushing, BUT he didn't have that deer in the headlights look that we are all so used to with most of the QBs we've had since Gibbs. And PRam has had it at times during his career.

PRam has all the tools to be great. IMO, it's just a matter of teaching him the right way and him getting the playing time it takes to get there.

Weird being 3-6 and being all excited to watch games again...

I have never, ever seen Patrick with the look you describe.
The last guy I saw lookin' like that was Jeff George.

Ramsey has thrown a bunch of interceptions in the 2 games he's played this season. but those situations weren't just tough situations. they were situations where he had to pass, to try to get us back in the game. And he forced it, trying to make something happen, since we were losing big in both games. He's not the world's greatest QB, but I think either he or Brunell or many of the QBs playing in the league now would have thrown INTs. At the Giants game, the defense was just hanging back, waiting for the pass. there was no run, and no chance of a run... that's how bad that situation was. We don't know how he'll perform when a defese has to defend against both run and pass, and i'll be he'll perform a lot better (assuming Gibbs doesn't start calling only pass plays).
I don't want to knock gibbs, but i've noticed that our play calling has looked really panicked and desperate when we fall behind. i just hope that with ramsey, he'll stick with the run-first game plan, and throw in a couple of surprise passes to keep the defense on its heels. IF we do that, i think Ramsey and the team will be reasonably successful.
