Off-topic!

Anyway, should we start a poll on how much longer Parcells will be with the Cowboys at this rate?

Sure thing cvillehog. My guess is Parcells "resigns" and throws his granny panties in JJ's face on the way out the door in January.

I think Parcells stays and does a complete 360 with that team next season

Hold on. Can someone give me a link to an article stating his disgust??? I had always thought he was shutting down the media and taking it all extremelly well. Is that just a random, inane comment?

About Portis being a bust. . . hmmm. . . Isn't he on pace for over 1600?? I think the cows could certainly use a back that actually gets over 3.4 yards per carry and is in store for 744 yards. . .

Back to Parcells! I think the major problem is this team really over-achieved last year and now we are seeing that this guy is having trouble with a team that has no chemistry! And some very old players!

bp likes to intimidate his players and IMO thinks that he is a winner who does not need talent!! We are seeing the sort of effort players will put out for a coach who does not respect them.

I think his winning days are long gone and last year is an abberation. Time to find a fat farm and disappear!

I disagree the problem with this Dallas team is not that they over-achieved. because I don't think that they over-achieved I think they had the talent there to win but
never the right coach to get it out of them

like I said the team is not filled with super stars but they had enough players to get the job done. especially with the
#1 defense it should have been obvious the problem were on offense not defense

a problem I think we are still seeing with the right talent that offense could score 35 points a game. instead they just barely make 20 and eek out wins

Parcells doesn't have that same talent from last year this and I think it shows just how badly it hurts them with out
that talent being on the field

You can only keep the band aid on for so long well it came off and Parcells has to stop the bleeding

something he's not gonna do this year

Or next year, or the year after...

OK, the Cowboys are not my favorite team, or second favorite, or...(go on down the list).

However, I have seen Parcells at the Giants and the Jets. He is a fine coach. No doubt.

I don't see anything important in what Parcells told his players, or what he said about the media.

Parcells always snarls at everybody: media, players, general managers. Maybe the only exception was Lawrence Taylor, but that was LT.

Parcells used to rip into Phil Simms every other week, even though Simms was then one of the best QB's in the league, and ten times better than either Vinny or the Yankees-reject third-baseman, what's-his-name. It made Simms play harder, or at least Parcells thought so.

That's his method. All of it is just the Bill Parcells' style. It's different from Joe Gibbs, but that's life. Both win with their own ways.

Give up? Parcells? Not likely.

Agreed very nicely put Welch I have found players don't respond to a coach who is not pushy or demanding. if a coach
is layed back easy going then the players are the same way

Parcells pushes and demands more I've heard former Parcells players say. that even when we win he's still not happy he still wants better

so will Parcells give up? I don't think he will but he will make life hell if the players don't change
