I disagree with Brunell being the starting QB. I don’t have to agree with Joe to support him. I back the man, and I see a 1000000x improvement in our team. I’m thankful he came back to us. I’m proud of my team this year, the coaches, and especially Joe. The only person I’m sick of us M. Brunell.

Although I support Joe, I disagree with his QB decesion.
I will not just give him a freebie because he won 3 Superbowls.
Bench the weak armed sucka!!!

Exactly. I wasn't here for them so in my mind they don't exist. Great job to him, he's one of the best. But dont get mad at those of us who may disagree with him at one time or another.

I don't think Joe was looking for a freebie, anyway. He knew what he was getting into, sort of. He just didn't think that it would take so long for the boys to buy in, heart and soul.
The only thing that brings THAT result these days is winning.
I believe that's a perfect Catch-22.

Actually, TC, I think they have bought into it. It's just wearing on them because the man under center can't throw a pass. That in itself makes moving the chains a little hard, which in turn makes scoring/winning hard.

Joe should have your support ( he's the coach of our beloved Redskins) Even he said he's biggest worry would be failure.
So I agreee with TC..he didn't expect or want a freebie

I want Brunell bench also, but there has got to be some logic behind Gibbs keeping him in there
1. Brunell is mobile Ramsey is not (this isn't a knock on Ramsey) we know he can take a licking and keep on ticking.
But if the O-line is performing at a level that requires a mobile QB who would you play.
2.What do you do with Brunell if you bench him? Ramsey still can learn from this guy once he takes over, will he be willing to help the kid if he feels he wasn't given a far shake (sputtering Offense that's NOT solely his fault)
I've bashed Brunell for 2 and a half weeks and got nothing out of it( well I did keep a good buzz going during my bashing

) but I done with that Not only will I support Joe 100% but I will also support his decisions (when I get to 100% I'll let you know)

ChampsTurf, I would love to agree with you, but...I still see waaaaayyyy too many people standing around when an interception occurs against us, up in arms, looking to the sideline like, "It wasn't my fault !"
Joe, at that moment, doesn't care whose fault it was. Make the tackle, minimize the damage.
Worry about the assignment of fault when you're poring over the tapes. Either way, Joe will have your back at the press conference.
Why not get his back, and do your job ?

- Is anyone here a better coach than Joe Gibbs?
- Is there a TV "analyst" who is a better coach than Joe Gibbs?
If you answer "yes" to either question, please explain why.
Meanwhile, I support Gibbs 100%.

I agree with Champsturf, the team has totally "bought in to the system" that is not the issue at all. We need production at the QB position, Brunell may get a few wins but let's face it he can't take us where we want to go.

Well, Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry are both dead, so that leaves us with only one of the 3 greatest head coaches of all time in Gibbs. . .

I think Gibbs is the best coach Ever in the nfl and I understand he has reasons for not playing P-Ram but Brunel is not or has not played well. And Gibbs likes to gamble going for it on fourth and long, I say go for it coach try P-Ram out. Lets see if he is our future.

As one of the great philosophers once said "I resemble that remark" - I also would like to see a little more effort being put forward on the part of some of these professionals.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going!!
We have some making a decent effort but some are just benefiting from the players around them. We have had some bad calls BUT good teams (it is a team game) make up for bad calls.
C'mon guys, check your egos and like TC said "lets cover his back!"
