The Skins beat the Skins vs the Giants. The Skins beat the Skins vs. the Cowboys & the refs. The Skins beat the Skins vs. the Browns. We've been our own worst enemy - and the teams we've "lost" to aren't very good. In fact, there aren't a lot of "good" teams out there. We're not far from being competitive - especially if we can stop beating ourselves. It's been ugly, but it'll get better.

Me too, Welch. And I have faith in Joe Gibbs, because I know He will make it happen, even if we only go 1-15 this year. He still needs to make this His team and find the guys that want to be real "Redskins". I am really getting pissed off at all the negativity. People just spent too many months building this thing up beyond reasonable expectations. Let's face it, we really sucked last year and it will take a little time.
This is deja vu all over again (1981). We were 0-4 then not 1-3. We have a chance to be 2-3 vs 0-5. And in 1981 after 4 games we only scored 60 points, exactly the same as this year. What needs to happen now is that Brunnell needs to make a late night visit to Gibb's house to complete the deja vu.
Have faith in Him.
