Congratulations, Jake, and good luck, SkinsChic! Yes, the parallel parking is a stress...I'll always remember failing my first driving test...I was too ashamed to speak, my father was too mad to speak...we had practice and practiced in the Prince George's Plaza parking lot. But, then, to pass! Ah, triumph!!

(That first week, I drove all around Beltway, which had just been opened and was mostly empty...just to practice going fast.)

Thanks. Yeah, that feeling of passing is something else. The MVA in Largo was only a few miles from FedEx Field. I happened to see it on the way home.

Good story. I wish the Beltway was always empty. It's tough driving through it now-a-days.
