"It's cool," said tackle Kenyatta Jones, who was sporting the Portis version.

Sounds like the linemen appreciated the gesture. Anyway Gumby, a dinner at the steakhouse is gone the next day, a T-shirt can last a lifetime. The way I see it is this, if my son goes out and buys me a gift for my bithday or father's day, it doesn't have near the value of a handmade (or personally designed) gift. Can you not understand that? Not everything is about money, but I can see why a 'Pie fan might think so.

I strongly suggest we change the name of this thread. Suggestion: "Hatin'on Gambit for makin' an "insensitive" comment about t-shirts".

This has NOTHING to do with Lavar.

RIGHTTTTTTTTTTT

Most T-shirts, espically the ones Mr. Portis got are meant to be worn around the house and in the summer time. Now a 300lb that wears a t-shirt in the summer times , definatly sweats. Factor in the washing of that shirt, possible shrinkage, the wear and tear on that shirt. I dont see it lasting a lifetime ole buddy , ole pal of mine JSPB22.

It was a nice gift, but honestly it didnt take that much thought and/or effort to do. Thats all I am saying. Also Portis didnt not handmake the shirts. LOL....Oh and the dayum design was used by a D.C. GoGo band awhile ago for there T-shirts....So its not all that original.

Hey Scott, here's the t-shirt you were asking about. It's the one that Portis presented to the o-line.
