According to several reports I read last night, Kalu was the expected starter at end along with Kearse... up until he got hurt according to the dates on them.

Of course, I don't follow the beagles as much as you do GF so I might be being misled but it seems this didn't help your crew much

He was supposed to start because he was the only healthy body from last season. Once anyone else (Burgess, McDougle, Green) showed they were ready to play he would have been pushed back.

Hey GF, are the feebles going to be able to field a team this year, or will they have to start some of the cheerleaders?

Just an update - 23 injuries and counting on the Eagles... with 8 on the DLine... more than most teams have in their entire injury report...

Ow..

Even if they all come back - they are missing time too

I still say the Eagles and Skins will be fighting it out and maybe 3-3 isn't so far fetched with the Eagles having so much early trouble

If you want to look at them more you'll have to buy a calendar like everybody else.

LOL

and if you want any more predictions from me you'll have to wait a bit for it :)

still you have to admit that the 23 injuries doesn't help you guys out especially the 3-4 on IR

The injury report on the official site lists 10 players. 2 questionable and 8 out. Of those 8 listed as out 6 would probably play if this were a regular season game.

Most of those are minor dings or sprains. Guys like Detmer, Akers, Darwin Walker, Ike Reese, and Dawkins don't really need the camp time like the younger guys do. The younger guys certainly need as much as they can get.

I dunno - sounds like you have the "we didn't make it to the Superbowl because..." train all fired up and ready to leave the station ::Grin::

I don't see how, I didn't make any excuses last year. The NFCCG was a game that should have been won.

shoulda coulda woulda ::grin::

you are so easy GF... that's why I love to have you around on here ::chuckle::

seriously - you aren't concerned with the walking wounded you all have in camp?

I'm a little concerned with some of our guys not being out there, but most of ours are the "veterans in the know who don't need the time as much" variety...

This is a team that went on a rather large winning streak with an army of walking wounded, and this year we have TO. I'll be worried if we lose to the Giants in week 1. :)
