we've kept them pretty much pinned down most of the game.

miami has 0 rushing first downs. (sucks for them huh?) anyway we are runnig the ball well.. ramsey is showing a few problems letting a delay of the game be called. So far it looks like brunell is the clear #1.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly....
_______________________________
The Good: I could say that the defense did a stellar job, which they did. But I have to say they played against Feely & Minor... so they weren't playing against a real competative offense.. but none the less... I think their still a great unit and will prove so against anybody...
Taylor.... 2 forced fumble's, and 2 pick's in 3 games.... All that needs to be said is: Thank You Football God's!
Brunell had a pretty much flawless night.... he didn't make any huge plays, but he was smart about everything he did...
John Simon came out of no where this week and had a great game... hit his hole's played smart... I was really impressed after barely seeing him before... I thought he'd be the RB we'd be giving the axe too... but he definetly step it up tonight and made it hard for the coach's
Definetly, The best part of the night was watching the O-line work... Those Dirtbags played like they were in week 16, and against a pretty good Miami Defense... I definetly give them an A....
The Bad: Ramsey looked better than last week... but that's not saying much... and you can just see he still has alot to prove. Maybe the whole competition is bothering him or something... he just doesn't look like the confident Ramsey of the last 2 years... and especially since he played mostly against 3rd stringer's... He will be great for our future, but I think it would do him some good to sit behind and learn from Brunell this year...
And McClough was disappointing in my eye's... too much dancing... not enough hit the holes, playing mostly against a third string Defense, he wasn't very impressive... he did break one, but that was due more to the O-line... i think he took a step back this week and will have a tough time beating out Simon... I guess that battle will come down to Atlanta...
The Ugly: Not to much was Ugly this week... if I had to pick one... it would be the Special teams.... seems like everyone had there head up there keaster's a couple time's... but i'm not to worried about them.... not yet anyways...
The "BringThePain!" Award goes to Matt Bowen.... The guy didn't make a ton of big plays... but everytime I saw him he was flying around like he just downed a 6-pack of Red Bull.... I love his fearless-ness.... The man is an animal... Ohalawho?
Finally saw a slice of the game...

This afternoon, I saw the opening Dolphins and Redskins series...then Mrs dragged me out...
- Taylor: wow. The hit, the fumble. The quickness and impact.
- As the Post writer said this morning, Joe Gibbs didn't really run his offense. This was like actors in rehearsal, stepping carefully to their marks on stage. For those too young to have seen the SB 26 team, (yes, among the most underrated NFL teams ever...outclassed the rest of the league by about 2 TD's)...a Gibbs offensive play has three or four or ten looks on one play: the H back goes left and sets...the WR goes from left to right, step back from the line, and set. Somebody else moves right to left, and steps up to the line. Thenthe H-back starts in motion again, ball is snapped, and the H-back leads the RB through the hole...This is the simpleoff-tackle play. Not the normal complex play.
Just wait until Joe Gibbs gets them practiced enough to really play his offense!
