gambit sums it up.........something definitely does NOT feel right here and I'd bet the bank Gibbs and the crew are talking about this during closed door meetings where players aren't around...this is rapidly starting to smell like a B-U-S-T.....there's just too much weird stuff going on with this guy and I'm a bit concerned.

1. Fires his agent after the draft
2. Takes a shaving cream pie to the face is blinded cannot practice.
3. Misses several team functions
4. Leaves the mandatory Rookie seminar , to come back to
washington , because he was being evicted from his apartment in Miami.
5. Hires an agent at the last minute, but supposedly him and agent have been talking and communicating all the time.
6. Comes QB camp and sprains his knee, MRI's negative, so he does not work out the first couple of days of practice.
7. Fires his agent because he feels his deal is too light.

This boy has some issues with him. With his familiarity of his teammates and the D.C. Metro area he will become more relaxed and little problems like this will become more frequent.

Most of these are correct, but I think 3 is totally false, and 6 is not right either. He only missed one day, with the sprained knee, and he was at the practice, so he only really missed out on the hitting. He is under contract people. Unless he decides to hold out now, I don't see what all the fuss is about.

First of all #3 is right I got that from the D.C. papers. Also #6 is right he did mess up his knee right before training camp with caused him to be behind a day or two for training camp. Here is a post from GIBBSKIN from another post

all i can say is St better grow up....alot of people need a job and hes got one...he had better quit acting like a punk..and get with the program...if this was someone from one of our devision rivales and was acting like this ..u would all be saying how worthless the guy was...look in the mirror...

To respond to FATPAT.......Moorad took the MAXIMUM Commison (3%) on the deal..as per TODAYS Times or Post(I FORGET)......Like TCWEST said something is highly irregular here.......i cant figure it out.....My first guess was he picked ROSENHAUS at first as bait so the Redskins would take him over Winslow...then fired him right after being drafted ..but now this....Its a real head scracther to say the least..........HEY SEAN , START MAKING SOME PLAYS IN CAMP , AND QUELCH THIS FEARS......

The point is, he has not missed a single day of training camp, and continues to practice. This whole agent thing is nothing to get all hyped up about.

The only thing that worries me is that he's been talking to Winslow Jr... no proof, but I've gotta think that Winslow Jr is blabbing away at ST. He needs to play football right now. He's going to be fine - IF - he focuses on the task at hand, learns the playbook and hits the weights. Taylor is still a very young man, a kid. As he matures, he'll become a better pro. Shut up, work hard and knock snot bubbles out of anyone not wearing the same uniform you're wearing. Be respectful and hit the books/film room!

We obviously have no way of knowing if he has been talking to Kellen II, but my guess is that Kellen, Sr's quotes in the paper regarding Taylor's "bad" contract have got to be at least part of the reason that Sean's panties are in a bunch. The Winslow family has gradually become only slightly more likable than the Husseins.

My bottom line is that the smell test has been failed, but I do take the point made ad nauseum that the kid has not played in a game and has yet to miss a practice. One thing is for certain and that is that we don't live inside his head. Hopefully, it'll all work out. I'll reserve judgement for now. But...

Ok I was not going to worry about this until the Winslow factor was brought up. Would they really stoop that low as to put thoughts in this dude's head? Wow I am glad we picked Taylor now no matter what the issues are he's dealing with!

Niki - Totally agree about the pick! The Winslow factor is troubling BUT ST is under contract AND JG is in charge. I think we should let this play out a little more. There is a lot of false info out there.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

If ST decided to sit out the season what would be the cost to the Redskins (i.e. salary, bonus, etc.). If he is this focused on Money vs. Football we need to ship him out somewhere quick.

If he holds out, even while he's under contract, he'll be fined a substantial amount per game. Joe Gibbs is gonna handle this one just fine. But, I think Snyder shouldn't go out of his way to talk about a new contract. In fact, I think since Taylor is a rookie, he can't re-negotiate a new contract until after his first year. So, let him hold out if that's what he really wants to do. If he was smart, which I'm starting to question, he'd take his huge signing bonus and play his heart out. Then he'll be able to renegotiate with a little more ammunition. But, if he holds out, his worth is gonna go downhill. He needs to get some NFL experience under his belt before he starts acting like he is. I think he's getting bad advice from someone. But, someone in his family needs to tell him to get out there and play ball.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

I am curious what is being said in the locker room from his teammates like Portis and Lavar. They really need to push this guy in the right direction. I was and still am a big fan of the Sean Taylor pick. Lets hope he does what he did in Miami. I watched this guy many many times at the Orange Bowl being here in South Florida and he is a rare talent. Just give him a little time.
