I don't think it is a new tune, that's just a poor choice of words. I think it is just a new recording.
This is what I get from this whole project as well. There's no way they'll ever mess with the time-worn traditional marching band rendition. That will be the staple for generations to come.

But an album (even if it's on CD, it's still an album) of other arrangements and treatments of the classic would be an interesting listen. The National Symphony's version is still one of the best I've heard.

Gambit, I saw teen idols in Richmond,VA in '97. It was good melodic punk.
