Just think Jake when your writing for the Post or Times you'll look back and think "Wow I once slung icecream for Friendlys, now I'm writing 1500 words about a dog show." Congrat's on the job I'm sure You'll end up with the Redskin's beat.

JF, dishwashers and 'cooks' don't get tips unfortunately. :(

Warmother, let's just pray I never have to write about dog shows as much as I love dogs. :lol:

FSF, thanks and I always got the Fribble when I was just a customer. Hopefully I'll get them for free. :lol: Man, a kid can dream can't he? :D

Wow, things have really changed in Southern MD. When I was a dishwasher in high school in Calvert County, we got 1% of the tips, which in turn allowed them to pay us 2.00 an hour, well under the minimum wage.......

I didn't know dishwashers ever received tips. I know waiters and waitresses do. They get paid 2 something an hour and make most of their money on tips.

Yeah, I was being a little facetious. It was basically a way for the restaurant owners to rake me over the coals....:D
