How can this dope really say that the NFC East has improved across the board? I don't see that AT ALL.

I think the only team that has seemingly improved is the Redskins, possibly the Giants. The Eagles seem weaker, with a vastly depleted secondary, and Owens will cause problems early in the locker room. The Giants have a better coach, perhaps, but it'll take them awhile to adjust. Warner is a question mark in my mind. Better than Collins, but still a question mark. Dallas seems about the same to me, maybe even a bit less talent-wise than last year. Will the players continue to bleed for Parcells? I don't know. He's a great coach, but he motivates out of fear, and he seems to have no joy for the game anymore. He even admits that. How long can that keep a team motivated?

As to the Redskins O-Line problems, this guy is a moron. A careful evaluation of last season will show that the MAJOR culprit in Ramsey getting killed was the SCHEMES devised by that idiot Spurrier, not the play of the O-Line as a whole. When you have overweight tight ends you just hired two days earlier assigned to block pro bowl DE's, you're in trouble.

The line will be a HUGE improvement this year.

In short, this author is a total moron.

From what I remember OAFUSP it takes 2 or more people to have a conversation. I am not holding guns to anyones head on this message board making them respond to me. People that respond either want to prove a point, prove me wrong, state there opinion, state a fact or just want converse about football nonsense with me. Deep down inside that little green moster is eating you up isnt it.

If Gambit is guilty in this thread, then I must admit that my hand has cookie crumbs all over it. It wasn't a real battle between then two of us, just some light jesting here and there.

I am usually a very laid back dude but....
Let me make this very clear to you....this is a REDSKIN site, and many people have tolorated you and respected your opinion, and some of those opinions have had great points, BUT, you should seriously look at your past posts and see that you turn almost every post into a Redskin vs. Cowboy debate, or you bust on a Redskin players performance (past and future projections). Some people here only give you the time of day because you are a cowbitch fan at the wrong site, but other people (like me) have to spend a lot of time weeding through the posts that you have ruined. Some of us wish there was an option on this board to not view your posts...a simple button that makes your posts "invisible" would be nice...other than that have a nice day and go check yo'self.

Just try to get your point accross in 1-3 posts and stay on subjest instead of turning it into a Redskins suck debate...cause guess what (don't be surprised)? That is exactly what you'll get since you are at a Redskin site...NOT THE GAMBIT187 site.

Though you are certainly entitled to your opinion I think that you may have lost a bit of credibility when you posted that. If you think Gambit is on a lower level than you, why stoop down to it? Lets try to refrain from personal attacks.

I can't say that I always agree with Gambit but I must admit that most of his observations are well thought out and relatively accurate whether we like it or not.

One point I cannot deny is that Vinny still has a gun for an arm. He has no problem going down field. And yes the Redskins paid way too much for Brunnell. That's just the truth.

Quite frankly I think its good to get some Cowboy input on this board otherwise we all get too hyped on what we think we have aa a team. The truth will show on the field soon enough. We just all have to struggle through this next month til we have some real meat to chew on.

Well this is getting a little childish, so I'll intervene...

... the obvious flammatory nature of some of these posts ends TODAY with the new flaming rule.

6. Flaming... will not be tolerated and is defined as follows: Any post in a thread that addresses a poster directly, does not have anything to do with the original post or whose sole purpose is to illicit a negative response from other members of the site.

I have added it to the rules of the board and it will be enforced with extreme prejudice. What it means is that posting off-topic and to purposely illicit a certain response is no longer an option and will be dealt with the same as a personal attack.

Some of you don't realize what staying on-topic means but will learn quickly as the moderators enforce the new flaming rule.

... because... while oafusp didn't have to get on to a soapbox to say it, he is right to a large extent. Some of these conversations lead so far off topic because other teams' members wanna include their team... well too bad.

... start a thread in the Around the league forum about it then... because unless we're making direct comparisons... posting about a team in the hog Wash forum, other than the Redskins, is probably off-topic.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
