and L.A. Stupid Posts
I knew i would get alot of responses from this post, all your answers so far have been really entertaining, thank you.
I have to admit it might be a stupid thought, to think the Redskins would move to Los Angeles. I don't want it to happen and we know it's not gonna happen. But I don't know about this post being stupid. I looked at the other post on the site & one has 7 replys, another has 4 replys, another 1 reply and the rest NO replys. This post is on it's second page going on three, is it really that stupid?
Anyway, there's no redskin news interesting enough and I needed something to help me through the day.

The Redskins moving to Los Angeles makes about as much sense as the New York Yankees moving to Boston.

I disagree, Yankess are hated in Boston. Redskins are not hated in Los Angeles. Actually everybody I know has no feelings towards the redskins. Except for the fans, we love the redskins. You know who is hated here? The Cowboys, but just as many people love them as well.

I love to stirr up cowgirl fans here in L.A.

The Redskins moving to L.A. at least makes SOME sense, in that L.A. is America's second largest market and does not have a professional football team...

I agree, we should have a team, I think one of the reason why L.A. failed with the previous NFL teams is because we had two teams & they shared the market here in L.A.
One team on the other hand would have the entire Souther California fan base & that's alot of fans. Excluding San Diego of course. There is alot of $$ to be made in L.A. that's for sure.

Volume does not equal quality....hell, Clinton has a 950 page book that totaly sucks.
It is a slow week, good post to keep peeps entertained
I still do not know why you'd bother asking a Skins Fan Site the question: "How would you feel if the Skins left?"
I am so shocked that people weren't posting, "Wow, thats a great idea, Snyder sucks for not thinking of that".

Who else would I ask? Do you think anybody else cares if the redskins are relocated? I'm a Redskin fan since 1988, I spend 9 hours a day visiting this site (work days only) Where else would I post such a thread.
Oafusp your replys were funny though, thanks for taking the time.

I live near LA, love the Skins and would HATE the idea of this team leaving the DC area.
Bring back the Rams, this way the can return to the crappy team they were while they were in LA.

When I first read Your post Skinfaninla20 I started to get a plane ticket online to LA to beat You sensless for even bringing it up, I would be devestated. But then I thought of 31 people who would love for the Skin's to move to LA. Thats the other owners who would be trying to move there teams to D.C. to then make them the richest team on the planet.

So you're saying that you wouldn't mind rooting for the "Washington Eagles", "Washington Cowboys", "Washington Ravens", or "Washington Giants"?

No no no, I would never root for another NFL team if they left, even one in D.C. I just wanted to point out that moving would be a huge finacial mistake. I was not clear.

Whoa... Don't most people root because of the city and not because of the mascot..... I wouldn't have a problem rooting for any team that moved into the Washington area.... Would it stink to not have the skins here? YES..... but i'd still welcome football in DC no matter what there "mascot" is.... Although it might take alittle while to warm up to the Washington Cowboys

NO WAY we could subject our boys to THAT type of fan base (the ones who weren't at the games ---about half of the stadium---...not the rednecks with the Sweaters).

Really nice research, you know what's worse? The fact that there's been no football here since 1994, will make it alot harder for a team to build up a fan base. People here turn their backs on their teams really fast. A team in L.A. has o win in order to have fans. Not me thou, I've been a redskin fan throu the good time and the bad times, unfortunatly it's mostly been bad. Not for long though, I see the light at the end of this tunnel..
