I say Bowen, but I'm sure Williams will use them both in key situations. As for who is better, its a tough question to truely answer. One of them may emerge this year a the "true" starter even after Gibbs and Williams decide whomever it will be at the beginning of the season. Heck, maybe neither one will work out and we take a different route, its really to early to tell what's gonna happen come September, all I know is that I think it will be Bowen, but I will gladly take anyone who lives up to the job and excels for the Burgundy and Gold.

I think thats a good way of putting it.

I;m taking bowen for one reason. I watched the atlanta, Green bay wild card game two years ago, and bowen was an absolute beast(15 tackles ) in the biggest game of his life. Hopefully with a competent defensive coordiantor he can put up numbers similar to that this year.

Bowen should shine this year with the coaching and scheme changes that have been made, but may the best man win

Bowen has better speed which may make him more suited to blitzing but Iffy has better ball-hawking skills when roaming the defensive backfield and can make plays. i also think he can play strong safety. i would not bet against Ohalete winning the job. Bowen better watch out. overall Iffy has shown me more.

was a personal clash he had with that NFL front office pansy Gene Washington. definitely some kind of hard feelings there. Carrier played well for us. overpaid? maybe ( everyone was at the time Danny was learning the ropes)but he played well.
Gene Washington was a fine player himself but he used to always hit the dirt to avoid getting hit hard and i think he kind of cheated his team out of extra yards.

I agree. Iffy will likely get more picks...but Bowen will make the hit that stops the clocks.
I wonder if Iffy is better suited at CB, where his sure hands are more likely to make an impact ? Unfortunately for him (if this is the case) he's got a couple of potential Pro Bowlers ahead of him. What an excellent insurance policy though, huh ?

Bowen is a better player. Iffy can't play CB, he is one of the slowest Safeties in the league. Don't know why everyone thinks he is such a ball hawk. Bowen is faster and a hard hitter. And contrary to what people have written he is a much better play maker. Last year they both had 3 ints but Bowen forced two fumbles (actually three if you count his game saving tackle in the Panthers game which was ruled a TD). He made plays at important times too.

I think you will see a lot of these 2 changing up in different situations. Both are good tacklers, but Bowen takes bad angles (Miami game: James Mcknight). But I see Gregg Williams using these guys in versatile situations, and both will see a lot of action this year.

This is one of the easiest questions to answer! The guy who starts at SS will be the one who plays best in camp! They both better bring their "A" games.
