You probably have been told so much that you have no life that it probably doesn't effect you any more. Have you seen the movie the Fan with Wesly Snipes and the stalker. That fan reminds me of you.

No kidding, remember when we were basically getting ready to seal the Cowboy game in 2001 and Bailey gives up a pump fake to...hmmm, Quincy C to Rocket. Game over. I left the bar right there....He was a stud, but when games were totally on the edge of turning momemtum or crucial points, Bailey did show up occassionally and spoil the party. That's why I like Portis........unless he fumbles.

Now one could say...."well, yea, but you're looking at one game, look over 99 to 03".. Yea, I did and he was an asset, absolutely, and probably won a few games here and there, but he seemed to standout during crucial times.
Guess they all do, heck, I remember D Green getting chowed by Irvin all the time when games were on line too.

Anyway, I'll still take Portis.

Kids... that is how you're sounding... take it to the smack forum.

I see very little to do with the original thread in the latest posts...

Joe G... personal attacks are not tolerated anywhere but in the smack forum. Please keep your posts to the appropriate areas of the message board. Caling a guy a stalker probably qualifies as a personal attack.

And it has nothing to do with Champ Bailey...

PLEASE KEEP THREADS ON TOPIC PEOPLE...

And guys, stop the bantering. This is a Champ Bailey thread. Remember that. Not a "bicker with the Cowboys fan" thread. Act your age, please.

Thank you Jake from stopping that mean Joe G from beating me to a pulp.... :P

Character and discipline in Dallas yeah when I think of character and discline I think of Keyshaun Johnson.

I like Champ, but wouldn't it be nice to come out on the good end of a trade for a change? I'd love to see Denver regretting this trade for years to come and Fat Len writing about how brilliant Dan Snyder was for making it. :)

It has been a while since we've had a trade work in our favor. I wish that there would be more Sean Gilbert for LaVar Arrington and Chris Samuels trades happening for us.

I don't like how selfish Champ was regarding the money but I wish him the best, although he won't need my good wishes... with all of those burning receivers in the AFC West.

I see a lot of people say that it is easier to find a ood RB than a good CB. However, you are forgetting that a good RB makes a much larger impact on the game than a good CB. Take Denver for instance: they have Champ Bailey and....some guy named Kelly Herndon. Honestly, you think people are going to throw to Champ Bailey's side when they can throw to Kelly Herndon? Im not even going to go into whether Champ is a shutdown corner, but assuming he is, there is somebody who is hardly a shutdown guy on the other side of the field. Now, ehn you take Clinton Portis, you can't just ignore him like you can Champ. You have to plan to stop him, which opens up options for the offense. If the defense loads the line of scrimmage, Brunell(or Ramsey), can throw. First Down. If they dont stack the line, Clinton can burn them. First Down. He will change the entire defensive gameplan of the other team, and the offensive gameplan of the Redskins. You can't say the same about Champ Bailey for Denver.

If you have a shutdown corner on a team with a decent pass rush, he is going to be priceless. He's GOING to pick passes off. If you have someone like Smoot opposite of him he's going to pick a lot of balls off. Safeties too. Thats one of the reasons why the 2000 Ravens did so well, their D scored just as much if not more than their offense. A shutdown corner can have a decent effect, he'll completely negate one side of the field allowing u to focus on ur weaknesses. A RB is there to score. A shutdown corner is there to defend, but he brings the ability to score. Which is a plus. If you surround him with decent players then his worth is insurmountable. (spelling).

No what i have done with arrington is based on pure facts.

Like for example, Allen Iverson is having birthday party this weekend at Zanzibars, and an after party at a hotel. Guest list for that party include ummm u take a wild guess.

Unless you were there and have him on tape then your facts are just as relevant as the media's portroyal of Johnson. People have seen Arrington at parties, its been shown on tv that Johnson can be a butthole at times.
